Well, you said it was taken from a conspiracy site, spaceweather is not a conspiracy site (the link i provided).
Same could go for this thread, why is the older (with more replies and info) not included in this (later created) thread in 'breaking'?

Double topics about the same issue is allowed here, but why post 2 different threads about the same issue? So people can post links to there first reply in other threads or repeat what was said before? I don't really see the point in witch catagory it is placed, since it will be in the 'recent posts' part of the forum anyway.

Well you quoted me when you replied that, so i assumed you where adressing me.

What I said was I linked to the original thread from the conspiracy section of this site to my breaking news thread, which I conceded and had closed since this OP beat me by 2 minutes.

Page I linked to for reference: Is Elenin Disintegrating? Looks like it from August 28.

Since ATS allows both, it was only fair to give credit.

I quoted my response to you because it was 3 posts above Vandalour's, who said the same exact thing you said.

I stated I knew I was wasting my time to Vandalour, because if they didn't take the time to read all the posts on page one, they probably will never know that ATS allows both an Alternative News, and general topic threads.


I realize sometimes the quoting was confusing. But it was all addressed to them when it started, not you. When you made your point, I simply pointed out that there was not a breaking news item yet and wasted my time repeating myself to Val - LOL and another 5 minutes having to explain (though I don't consider this particular post a waste)

This is why quoting needs to be revamped. I requested it several times.

Im not one of the doomsdayers but the comet breaking up is bad news, they new it was going to miss, now its like a shot gun blast with a much larger impact area.

One of the fragments could now be on course to hit earth, who knows?

Well, yeah i'm not one of those ELE and NIN people tho, i don't think it will be a life threatening comet to us. It's just one that enters close to us, but as i see it now not close enough to cause mass destruction and a potential to terminate life on earth. But that is just my thought on it.

But all we can do is wait and see what it brings, maybe some very strange alien radiation we don't know or see yet, maybe just a nice view in the sky for a small time window. Who knows, maybe the Annunaki jump of and come here to reclaim there creations (us). A lot is out there, but all are just 'theories' and 'speculation'. We choose witch one fits best to our selves.

Its very gratifying to see that there are still people who can work through a conflict and arrive together on a unified front. However, there will always be chicken littles out there running around screaming how the sky is falling, or the dangers of manbearpig. Its much more likely these people will jump to some new apocalypse. although I'm afriad I don't understand why? If i want to feel selfrighteously superior to someone why a doomsday scenario? Who will be around to hear you say "I told you so?"

LOL, yeah i was trying to explain the exact same thing in the other thread, but instead of a shotgun i used a snowball as a example. People don't seem it's a possebility, luckely i'm not the only one who thinks it might well be a possebility!

ELEnin is made out of DIRT and ICE! This is measured by light emitting from it! Does the 'core' of the comet emit light? Can you know what the 'core' is made of with this type of measurement?

All we know is what the surface of ELEnin is made out of ice AND dirt!
