I'm with you 100% on this. And I have to tell you that what I have always called intuition,is becoming what I understand to be the voice of a guide..Spirit,Angel..call it what feels 'right'. The line of thought that we are led by external forces was to me,preposterous,most of my life. Only recently have I begun to grasp the realization that it has been my internal running dialogue that led me to deny the possibility all along. If I choose to deny a thing,it does not exist for me. Period.

I think I am finally getting out of my own way. And Brother,it,feels,great!

Suggestions? Reading materials you found to be valid and worth the precious time spent?

in the morning i say a prayer of thanks, for all i learned, was helped with, the people who were kind to me, animals who shared their existance and brought me joy.

i know i'm a strange person who is impossible to understand.
so as i helped others and accomplished much, i was always grateful for those who were kind to me.

and that sets the mood for my day.

My apologies OP,I do not mean to make this thread about me. Like you,this is something new for me in the respect that only now,this late in my life,do I acknowledge it possible and desire to learn all I can on the subject and reality of it. I have not been so dramatically moved in my mind,heart and spirit in all my life as I am now,and each day and night I understand more and more.

This is an exciting time for me,as I began to think myself spiritually dead,forever trapped in the Dark Night of The Soul. The earth is not flat,and neither,it seems, is my spirit.

I wish you all the good fortune in this world in finding the answers you sincerely Seek.

I always wake with a sense of gratitude,and each evening,I light a small candle and whisper my thanks for all that I have received,and ask blessings of all that is good upon those I love,myself,and the world..each of you.

I do not know you,but,I know you. And so,I ask that you are blessed with all that you need,to become all that you can. If every living soul can be so blessed,then there will be hope that our race will rise to it's real potential,spiritually.

No real reading materials. If i am reading, I am not thinking (but rather being told what someone else thinks).

if i do read, it is a forum where I can also discuss. This makes me think. You have to get used to constantly thinking, and not about superficial flotsam.

But I have tried to learn about how the human mind works. I really enjoyed Ingo Swann's database, as it is a very good structure to build from for me. Other than that, nothing really.

You just told me exactly what I needed to know. Use MY mind,continue to let my thoughts flow forth etc.,not continue to rely on the thoughts and ideas of the mind of others. Brilliant!
