Yep, cheers.

Good work to whoever it was that sorted it.

Thanks a million!

I spoke too soon.

The speeds are going up and down faster than a Hooker's head in a scrum.

nothing has been fixed....it seems like all ISPs in the US are having issues right now

I think we may have ticked off one or more of the following:

ASIS Australia
RAW India
DGSE France
FSB Russia
BND Germany
MSS China
CIA America
M1-6 United Kingdom
Mossad Israel
ISI Pakistan
CSIS Canada

and now they're using their supercomputers against us.

OR

those lying weasels at Radio Shack sold someone a lousy router.

I'm still getting 504'd on some of the threads, but most of them are working, maybe a little slow.

Maybe it's the storm, but ATS developed problems shortly after I posted this thread:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Then ATS started working wellish again (bit rough, but hey). Now I can access everything but this one thread. Is it Me or are Others having issues access this thread?

Don't ask. I was told this belonged here. It's not about the weirdness on ATS. It's about My one thread....

According to this site, some North American routers are struggling right now:

My "God's Hammer" thread seems to have been caught in the same vortex as your thread. Can't get in, for nothing.

I wasn't finished of course, never could edit.

So, I went back to the forum to post the complete thread, anew, since I saw other new threads functioning properly.

It will not let me even do that!

Cuh-razy. Sent a couple U2's, but Mods probably busy.

I guess we'll see what happens.

I can't get into your thread either, along with a few other pages that won't load.

But I did read your U2U.

Maybe the best thing to do is wait it out.

Do you think that maybe with all the power outages up and down the eastern seaboard of the US would probably have something to do with it,not to mention the servers were overloaded this weekend with all the internet chatter having to do with Irene(hurricane, hurrigone)?

I don't get any messages but it takes an incredible long time to load a page. Been like that for a while already.

So...until it gets fixed...

It's...

the waiting game...

seem's to be doing fine, but its also a fine time to do what one cannot discuss....order in chaos

Due to the technical difficulties and technologies ability to go haywire when overloaded during times of crisis I will be selling a new and cutting edge device that is sure to work every time.

My new device might look like two cans with a string holding the two together, but I assure you it is the cutting edge of technology. I will also be offering a "long distance" option along with a "high speed" connection option.

Not unreasonable if you consider that all it takes is a few "broken" nodes at the afflicted disaster areas to cause slowdowns and/or outtages of a wide area network and ultimately the internet itself. If your trying to connect from london to phoenix arizona that means the data has to pass through the east coast first unless somehow traffic gets rerouted via the far east and into the west coast...long way! Or perhaps by satellite transmissions but that is expensive?

Go to MyATS and search for your thread there. If its not there it means you posted the new thread but it never registered on the server, which means you should restart from scratch. CIP that is why I ALWAYS copy-paste replies and threads to a notepad file for later reference BEFORE hitting the submit button. So many things can go wrong.

If its listed on MyATS but you cannot access it, unless locked by staff intentionally, then that means the thread is registered on the server but some of your internet cache files have been corrupted and keep showing you the same error message. Maybe it also has to do with the proxy server handing you the same file rather than loading the original. Try F5(soft refresh) and Ctrl-F5 for hard refresh. Most of the time this does the trick, if not delete your internet files and reboot your computer.

One way or another the issue should be easily resolved! The same advice goes to all the other whinners who complain about cia manipulation LOL....but don't understand the basics.
