The story goes that this is a meteorite crossing the sky. But it sure seems like it is going slow for that. Maybe space junk?

I'm sure it's a plane, I've seen that many times. Compare it to other meteorite footage and it looks even more like a plane. There's a few threads discussing this already.

Yeah, it looks like a plane with its contrail being lit from behind by the setting(?) sun..... seems like a meteorite would have burned out fairly quickly and been going a lot faster?
