I thought we could start a nature thread as well.

The Seasonal Tides

Winter will soon come around.
It's just a few more weeks.
I'll be ready; I can't wait.

There'll be snow across my town.
We'll freeze our little beaks.
On frozen ponds, we'll skate.

Watch the flakes come falling down
Above these Oklahoma freaks,
And on this Oklahoma state.

Feet crunch softly through the ground.
Slide down white, frozen creeks,
Until it Springs across the date.
