Yes please. I'd like my avi and background to look slick and proper like the one above,instead of catching just a corner of it. It's a nice corner,but the image in it's entirely is much nicer.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I use Microsoft's included Paint program to do my resizing. Very easy and accurate to use. Everybody has it in their accessories package.

There's basically no need to purchase an expensive photo editing software such as Photoshop to crop or resize your images. Here is one site you can use.

I agree.

Save the image you want to use.

Right click it

'Open with'

Click on 'Paint'

When it opens in Paint, you can now resize it using the 'resize and skew' menu tab (Windows XP) or clicking the two squares in the tool bar for Windows 7.

You can then increase or decrease the size by percentage. This means 50% will be half as big.

When you are happy; save it as whatever name and upload it to your media.

If anyone can't manage this u2u me and I'll do it for you. I've hosted a few avatars for people before and it costs nothing but five minutes in time.
