Thread about it here-

If it's the same anomaly, then it's space junk burning up as it falls.

It does look like a meteorite...not a plane...not unless its a burning one.

The video Phage has up looks a little like this video you have up ....but it is not the same. You can clearly see the plane in his and you cannot see anything but burning in yours....no identifiable flying object can be seen or not with my eyes.

Peace and love to you and yours!!!! xoxoxo

Yes but.. "Subsequent analysis showed that it was almost certainly a sunlit contrail, probably left by the Concorde aircraft. It was photographed in late September 2003 from South Wales."
So it seems that it needs a giant burner Concorde style to do this... i don´t know. Cool effect anyway

Had seen this story on sky news earlier but hadn't thought to post. Here's a link to the story on sky (doesn't really offer any new perspective though)

news.sky.com...

My sister was in Peru just a couple of months ago doing some training (as she is a Shamanic practitioner). She had many a strange story to tell of living in the rainforest

REALLY? That sounds really cool and interesting..please tell us all about the Peru trip while embedding thoughts about the meteorite as well to stay on "topic".

Speaking of...... what is your take on this..you think it is a meteorite or???

Jet engines produce contrails. Add the yellow-orange light of a sunrise/set and viola; UFO/meteor/space junk.
Except it's too slow for a meteor or space junk.

After rewatching the CBS video I have to agree that it is going too slow to be space junk. When I first watched it I was arguing against the meteor theory and going with the most logical explanation, although, the entire trail is not illuminated as it should be if it were a plane.

It's most likely a plane, but the only illuminated part of the trail seems to be a small section where it originates from.

This should not have been posted as a meteorite, it is CLEARLY an airplane. You don't even have to "debunk" anything... just watch the video.

For the record, the video of this meteorite passing over Cusco, Peru, was recorded 10 days ago. Some local reporter contacted the guy who filmed it, and he confessed he recorded the video 10 days ago and sent to a friend, who upload it on YT and sent for local TV, as if it had been recorded TODAY, for making it viral in the news.

Interview in Spanish here: www.rpp.com.pe...

Translation:

Juan Manuel Chara: "No, it doesn't belong today! These images surely were recorded in Chumbivilcas region, near Cusco. It was around 4:50 PM when I made this footage."

Reporter: "In what circumstances did you catch these images??"

JMC: "Right when I was returning from Cusco. I went to check this stolen truck and when I returned, curiously when I was coming back with this passenger, we saw this fireball coming from the north... I took the camera and started to film it."

R: "For the record, the images are real, but do not correspond to this day, as it was reported. But how come it's was informed to the media, as if had happened today??"

JMC: "The truth surprises me, 'cos I sent this footage to my friend and I didn't think he could use it, as he did, tricking the national public into believing it was recorded today."

R: "If it's been 10 days, since you took these images, did you have the intention of warn authorities?? What did you plan to do??"

JMC: "No, I thought about send it for TV professionals, but I wasn't in rush..."

R: "It was the first time that you caught these kind of images?? A meteorite??

JMC: "Yes, the first time and it was fabulous to me!"

R: "Due to this footage, did you get any calls??"

JMC: "From reporters!"

AOL posted the same thing a while ago but a bit shorter, it still looks like a contrail.

By the way it does NOT look like an airplane.

Anyway, the orbital drone of DARPA/USAF, HTV-2 Falcon, allegedly "lost in the ocean", was launched by the same time the guy said it was recorded... Just saying!

So it doesn't look like a plane...but it may be secret test plane? I'm confused it sounds like you agree with the majority of posters here.

Nobody has claimed to know the type of plane causing the contrails just that it is a plane.

Yes I do believe it was a meteorite. Dust trails, formations and speed gives me the sures.

My sisters trails will have to wait for another thread though. I'd like to embed piccies with them too. She didn't capture anything weird or such, just gives an idea of surroundings and perspective. She'd get a kick out of this forum. Might ask her to join and tell them herself
