Joint U.S.-China operation busts child porn ring 11 arrested

A joint U.S.-China police operation has cracked a Chinese-language child pornography ring in New York, Chinese police said, an unusual public example of cooperation between the countries' law enforcement agencies.

It said Wang's dozens of porn websites had more than 10 million members, and 18 of the sites had graphic images of children.

In a simultaneous raid, Chinese police detained more than 10 people for maintaining the Sunshine Entertainment Alliance's websites allegedly operated by Wang's associates in China, the ministry said on its website

Theres no one I hate more than childmolesters.
The desires from the users of these horrible sites, helps spawning new molesters.

Hope they get a very tough punishment.
They deserve to have their penises cut off with a rusty scythe.
And they should start pursuing some of the 10 million users and give them a heavy fine (not easy to jail 10 million people).

That is staggering, 10 million users, I know that child porn is a problem, but sheesh, 1 site alone 10 million users ,it is not as if you come across this stuff by accident either.

I wonder if this will be used as another nail in the internet freedom coffin that is coming?

I am sure China would support that as there internet already filters some sites i believe.

Will they publish member names? If millions of folks are exposed online would it lead to arrests and persecution of these sick f#. Could see lots of divorces if published. Be interesting to see reporters looking them up and sticking cameras in their face.

Why not read and understand what the article says people:

Dozens of (assumingly legit) porn websites with 10 million members...."18 of the sites had graphic images of children."

That's not as, most have instantly assumed here CP websites with 10 million pedo members.


I'm not by any stretch of the imagination condoning any sort of CP activity.

However, it's such an emotive subject it's so so easy for TPTB to gain even more control with stories like these.

Just read the first few responses posted here to this article and you can see how people, understandably so disgusted, have made their own incorrect interpretation of the information that is blatently written down infront of them.

I find it hard to support anything you say when you start talking about mutilating peoples genitals by way of punishment. You are an evil and twisted individual if you think this is the proper way for a civilised society to behave.

But I certainly want a lot tougher punishments compared to what my country currently use. Here these people would get a few years in a secured prison.

Were upset because not enough happens. If you had Severe penalties for both seeders, peers and the people behind the rapes, this thread wouldn't exist.

Now you see this is where I feel we dissagree on, well probably just language actually, I think... See if you label the users of these web sites child rapist becasue they loooked at the web sites, then you MUST by deffinition label me as a rapists for having looked at adult web sites? No?

And I also insist that genital mutilation, however it is performed, is not an acceptable punishment for anyone who may have done anything, in a civilised society. Of course, a child rapists is a disgusting creature which deserves our contempt, and punishment already agreed upon and available in our society.

Yeah, I hear you. I think we all too much sometimes rush to use words which carry far more weight than we intend for them. I also sometimes forget this.

Thanks for the level headed responce to my late night rant lol. Seem we probably have more in common than I preumed.
