I recommend you cross check the days and times of the Masonic meetings with the days and times of community and governmental meetings in your town and county. I've noticed that the Masonic meetings in my area never overlap with community and governmental meeting times. In all actuality, no matter how powerful a person is, they still don't have the power to be in two places at once.

Our meeting times are what they are due to other Lodges meeting in the building as well as other appendant organizations meeting in the Lodge room.

As someone that knows next to nothing about the group.

What would be discussed here, every fourth Wednesday at 7:30?

Lodge meetings tend to follow this order of business (or one similar to it):

1. Formal opening
2. Introduction of visitors and distinguished guests
3. Report on the sick
4. Reading of minutes
5. Reading and referring of petitions and applications
6. Report of committees on petitions and applications
7. Balloting
8. Treasurer's report
9. Unfinished business
10. New business
11. Masonic education
12. Formal closing
13. Dinner

same for us, except we eat first. It's best to drink the tea while it's fresh. I am sure you agree.

Do you guys invite your stuffed animals and invisble friends to your little tea parties?

My Blue Lodge eats first, but my York Rite sometimes eats afterwards...just depends. My OES Chapter eats after, but we just have a small snack, not an entire meal.

This holds true in most places and bodies. When I went to Italy I sat in Asylum with the Florentine Sir Knights, and this was pretty much the same way, but they ate first (7 course meal).

we NEVER bring our stuffed animals. Since they are not permitted in lodge assembled, we cannot trust they will be be watched by the Tyler so we leave them at home with our invisible monsters keeping guard.

Keep it up there Jersey boy. I might assemble a beer posse of brothers and invade your lodge to find out if your keg is full or not. Trust me, when I mention free beer, these guys are ready to roll.

Keg!? Keg!? It is kegs. Plural. More than one. We do things right.

If you are lucky, I might even open the liquor cabinet for you as well and fix you a Long Island Iced Tea which is the only tea you should be drinking Eloise.

Just remember to bring Mr. Norton, he could use a drink as well.

Are you sure that you are looking in the right thread for responses to your post? There are a number of threads with questions for Freemasons in the title. I suspect that your post still exists somewhere, because Masons also hold Truth as a tenet of Fraternity. If there was Truth in it, they would be happy the expand upon it but if there was no Truth in it it would be factually dismissed.
