2011 ATS Yearbook -- I NEED YOUR HELP ATS!!

Mods feel free to move this where you please. It's not really "news" and it's definitely not a conspiracy..

Peace everybody.

I know we've all been kind of wowed at how much has gone on this year, and some believe we haven't even gotten to the pinnacle yet (oct 21st-29th). I have to admit that as much as this year has scared me, some of the events have awakened me to the true reality of our situation as human beings. I thought it would be nice to kind of bring as many of those events together as possible, and create a yearbook for ATS.

This will just be the working outline, because I would like suggestions on stories and events from my fellow ATSers to add to this thread. For major events, I would prefer wikipedia links, or direct (local) news stories documenting it - the point of which would be to make it easier for non members, and passers-by to go to a link and quickly brief themselves on the situation.

I'd prefer that UFO sightings not go in here unless they are the potential Roswell of 2011, only because that would make this thread super extra long. As previously stated, this is just an outline. I will be updating the links, adding stories/events based off of suggestions from you guys, and then I will work on putting them in chronological order because right now, it's a freakin mess.

Remember, this is a very bare skeleton for a WIP that hopefully by the end of this year will be something that many people who are not members of ATS can benefit from, and ATS members can look back at and frown & smile.

I'm also considering a section for our random weird threads such as Amalgam and the rest of them. I'm sure there have been a couple worth mentioning this year. Anyway: suggest away so we can make this bang!

I thought it was going to be a yearbook of members not events. Now we don't get to say what members are most likely going to be when they grow up, or other nifty yearbook stuff...

Dammit I thought I would have won that hands down

Dunno I have to say almanac is such a better word, but not sure if it's the right one. Maybe it should be "The Encyclopedic Almanac of All Things ATS"

I also thought it was going to be a year book of ATS members. BTW, a thread like that does exist - New ATS Media Member's Photos Thread

I haven't been to it for a very long time, but quite a few of us have posted pics of ourselves there.
