It would be much easier if you would have just told everyone to open google sky, to the left, scroll down and check the infrared sky box and then type in 23 Leo. The object is right next to it to the right. This object has been all over youtube for quite awhile. Some people were claiming it was Nibiru, a brown dwarf, or comet Elenin.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this as of yet, but remember, Those images are from 2010. Google Sky is not real time. Neither is skymap. There is absolutely no proof that this is the so-called Nibiru. Elenin was in Leo in 2010, but it was more further to the left in the area that just so happens to be conveniently blacked out. What the object of discussion very well could be is a brown dwarf star, because they supposedly can only be seen in infrared. I don't know. We don't even know if this object is moving or not?

What I do know, is that this object is massive and unlike anthing else on Google Sky or Skymap in infrared. I challenge anyone here to find one single object that even comes close to looking like this one. Whatever it is, it's interesting. I have been studying this thing for months now, as have others. I would love to hear from an expert on exactly what this uncommon object is.

This forum is getting ridiculous. Google sky showing nibiru?? Like another poster stated, you can use google earth to watch a parade. Hey, I may use it myself to watch the upcoming Packer game. I'll cancel my time warner.

You saw an anomaly on an image based upon our solar system, and you immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was Nibiru. Without digging into the background of the anomaly, you swiped away all other explanations in favor of something theoretical. Once you allowed personal bias to interpret the anomaly, you opened up a thread that is titled, "You can see Nibiru!".

Where is your scientific proof that this anomaly is Nibiru?

Have you ever seen Nibiru before? What does it look like? What is Nibiru's climate like? What type of weather patterns does it have? Does it have oxygen? What color is the planet? What is the planet's atmospheric makeup? Etc... Where is your scientific evidence?

We would have had a conversation about 'what if', and the subject would have been more intellectually stimulating.

According to the NASA jet propulsion lab the brown dwarf star also called comet elenin (c/2010 x1) by NASA, just crossed into Venuses orbit line . Its current distance is 1.09 AU( about 93 million miles from earth).

Also when u get the java diagram up if u spin the view on today's date Mars, the Sun, and the dwarf star are in alignment today

Please do some research into what constitutes a "brown dwarf" before conflating it with a comet!

NASA calls it a comet so not to scare the sheep, they disclose that it is coming, but not the size. when use the diagram and go back to the dates of major earthquakes u will see that they co inside with the "comets" alignments with the earth and the sun.

No comet has the gravitational effect to do this.

NASA calls it a comet because that's what it is. A "brown dwarf" is a body much larger and more massive than Jupiter. Jupiter can be seen with the naked eye, and it is much more distant now than comet C2010X-1. Have you not been following these threads at all?

Then you can paste the image in any art program (ex: MS Paint).... then save the pic and upload

The thing in the background is supposed to be a water turbine, and the other thing is a refractory of light something or other, you can go to notes of the suiss bank on wikipedia and it tells you what is on each of the bills, i do admit i thought it was a space craft too, and noone can argue that long orbit something on the bill. That was printed back in 1986 i think, dont quote me, but it wasnt last year...

I don't need expert astronomical knowledge to explain this. First off, Elenin is below the ecliptic making any alignment absolutely impossible. Second off the so-called alignments do not allow for a straight line to be drawn between the objects that are supposedly aligned. In other words, an alignment doesn't occur. Then there's the fact that more often than not these earthquakes do not occur on the date of the "alignment" instead they occur within three to seven days. Now if we look at the number of earthquakes every year based on magnitude we find that a 6.0+ earthquake will occur about once every three days. So there you go. No alignments actually occurred and the earthquakes that occurred were not anomalous in any way.

Now, let me ask you a question. If Elenin is a brown dwarf why can't we see it? A brown dwarf would have a similar atmospheric composition to Jupiter. Jupiter reflects the light of the Sun. Jupiter is very apparent in the sky. Ergo, an object larger and closer than Jupiter would be even more apparent. Or how about this question. If Elenin is a brown dwarf why hasn't it affected the orbits of the planets or even the asteroids in the asteroid belt? There is no logic behind the claims that Elenin is anything more than a comet.

Brown dwarfs are like gas giant planets, only more massive. Another gas giant anywhere near the orbit of Saturn would be plainly visible in the night sky, as would a brown dwarf (not to mention that the orbits of all the planets it passed would get all screwed up).

Under the spectrum of the Sun, a brown dwarf would have a bond albedo similar to that of Jupiter and Neptune (Fig. 9). It would shine with reflected light from the Sun just like Jupiter does.
