I am really puzzled why people are not taking this ELEnin more seriousally. First of all, no one has ever seen this comet come through our solar system before, no one alive now has ever been alive when it has come through before, and all the stories and ancient stories have told of this being a destructive force before, for instance the Hopi Indians. I think people need to stop getting wrapped up about being wrong and having self embarrasment and realize that its better to be prepared and informed instead of not being prepared and ignoring the possibility. In all truths, there is a 50/50 chance. We have no clue what this comet could do, if it does nothing, then thats good for all of us, if it does something, we are prepared and not standing here trying to point fingers saying the government should have told us.

Really? The ancients warned about a comet with an 11,000 year orbit? Funny, because every time I see a claim regarding the ancient's knowledge it's always a planet with a 3,600 year orbit. As for the Hopi's that prophecy is a fake. There is no proof of its existence before 1959 when a white minister wrote it down. In fact the Hopis have come right out and said that it is not a prophecy of theirs. Even if this is Elenin's first fly-by we have seen long period comets before. Comet West for example has an orbital period of over a million years. Guess what happened when it passed in 1976? Nothing.

I know I read that somewhere but after some research I can't find anything on it so my apologies. However, Sitchin first language was indeed ancient Hebrew. So are you implying that Sitchin was never actually at those sites? Perhaps you need to read some of the his books because he actually went to as many of the ancient sites as he possibly could. I don't agree with everything the man says but he wrote his book in the 70s when this was on no ones radar. I don't need to go to that website either but you can keep going there all you want since you like it so much. Just remember that everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

That's because it almost certainly hasn't been here before. Astronomers suspect that it is a new arrival from the Oort Cloud, where it will have been perturbed by a passing star over a million years ago. The figure of ~11800 years that you may have seen mentioned elsewhere is the calculated "future" orbital period of the comet after it has left the planetary region of the Solar System.

All it says is that he spoke Hebrew at age 6. As I said his first language could have been Hebrew as he was Jewish. However, the Hebrew he read and spoke is very different from ancient Hebrew. While they are both in the same language family they are very different. It would be like me saying that I speak English and then you assuming that I speak Old English. Me being able to speak modern English has no bearing on my skills to understand Old English. They are essentially two different languages.

I thought the same thing, dude. Turns out Elenin is just a comet, unknown of what size to me, and Niburu is a brown dwarf that is larger than Jupiter.

You have failed to address the fundamental issue of the orbits of the planet and those orbits showing no deviation which would account for a rouge celestial body.

Also don't forget Sitchin did not use the Sumerian Dictionaries (which are set in stone and survive to this day) to help with his translations.

I guess you will ignore those facts just as you ignore science.

Sitchin could not have spoken Ancient Hebrew as his first language. Ancient hebrew is not the same as modern hebrew and to suggest Sitchin's entire family spoke nothing but ancient hebrew is ridiculous. Your first language is the language of your parents and others around you; ancient hebrew is not commonly used and therefore it is really ridiculous to claim someone having it as a first language. Have you ever heard someone have Latin for their first language?

There is no Niburu. Sitchin wrote pure science fiction and his writings should be treated as such.

Ive read many publications pertaining to anomalous archaeological finds. there really isn't much to them, and most can be explained away. why don't you be a sport, and post a link or two or even better...recommend a book, pertaining to these "events" so i can be convinced too.

i am not sure you can so easily explain the skulls of modern man found last century under 100s of feet of till.
i am not sure very many people at all know why the iron age came after the bronze age , when bronze is an alloy complex to make. and the iron age was only 3500 years ago.
