Deplume, I have skulked around ATS for a few years now, finally registered to post this year, and have only posted twice now. After seeing the mean ole sceptics rip you apart for sharing, I am now glad that I haven't "shared". But, I encourage you to keep sharing on this interesting topic. I believe in believing that we don't know *#%* about this life on earth, we are here to experience and judge for ourselves...individually. Keep posting!! You have given me courage to "share' my thoughts and experiences also.

- knight rider's info and 28th october
- amalgam's info and, again, 28th october
- one of the youtube videos of rumbling noises with some (russian?) kid talking about microbes

rings a bell?

i'll probably go to sleep in a moment, 3:25am here, but i'll get back to this in the morning.

Well said Deplume. There are people on this site and others that try, I believe, to end stop threads by attacking the OP. I am grateful that you brought this topic forward. After I saw your posts I researched this 'sky noise' and found that it is happening everywhere. The ass clown that is giving you fits is concentrating on something thats insignificant. I used your info to tests kids on other sky noises and for the most part they get the same message. Hello, we cant help you, and to get underground. I didnt use your sounds I gathered them off you tube. keep posting any new info you get and dont bother to look at his posts. There are a larger majority that appreciates you. Take care

I'm curious if there are any reported happening in Arizona? I haven't seen anything about it in AZ and I feel excluded from the phenomenon so far. I could very well be wrong though.

Thanks for that. If we keep getting these weird events with the numbers and sounds, maybe we should group them together and see just how many people are sharing the same experience and where they're located. And no, just countries and maybe cities, whether near certain places like airports, train stations, mines...etc(just examples). You know maybe the sounds come from areas that have lots of water near, maybe no water is near. I just want to know besides seeing these numbers and hearing the sounds, there must be some common denominator...there has to be something else we all share in common.

Any thoughts? This should be followed closely imo.

Okay, now this is getting strange for me. You are the third or fourth person I have noticed including myself here on ATS that are constantly seeing the same numbers. For me, it's always 11 or 12 past the hour. Or I just see 1's, 2's, 3's, 11's or 12's. I have been going through this since October of last year. The only significance those numbers have for me is my birthday is 12/11, but I see no reason to see these numbers over and over, several times a day for almost a year.

I am in the same situation. What's even weirder is my birthday is Nov 1, born at 12:12pm according to my BC.
I see 11:11 12:12 1:11 2:22 all the time. Almost every other day that I looked at a clock it will be just one of those numbers. I kept count one time and it was happening on Mondays, Wednesday and Friday at work and then it flipped to Tuesdays and Thursdays for 2 months straight.

I've been tested to be a star child, what ever that means, and have been told by several well thought of psychics / mediums that I am very old soul near the end of my journey. Strange because things around me just seem to make sense and I'm able to see how they work with each other yet I can not explain in human terms how I do it.

Hope this helps you figure things out.
Sirric

Thank you for sharing your experiences...what's a star child? For me I see these numbers over and over every single day. I feel kind of nutty about it at times
but I can't seem to make it stop so oh well. This has to be one of the longest lasting coincidences in human history (j/k I don't believe in coincidences).

Well I am up every night in AZ in the Phoenix area. There has not been anything interesting to report as of late. No rumblings, no lights nada. Now, there might be stuff going on further south in the bombing range but I don't get out that way too often. I also do not get up north often either.

There was someone I believe you mapped the reports in one of the other threads regarding the noises... If anyone remembers what I'm talking about and can link it please do. I'm on my cell right now so if no one else finds it then I'll look for it when I get to a PC. Thanks!

Well said, stellify. Straight to the point with minimal mucking around

I've read every page of this thread as well and have thoroughly enjoyed (most of) it. Deplume, it took guts to share what you've shared and I honestly don't see any kind of "agenda", hidden or otherwise, in your OP or any of the updates. Nowhere does it ask the ATS community to give anything that requires cash, property, or their first-born. Only opinions. I find the differences between what the adults hear and what the kids hear fascinating, yet slightly unnerving.

It has been suggested that all this is purely for the sake of getting ideas for a book, but that doesn't change the fact that other people's children heard a message in the noises. And if that is the case (of which I'm highly doubtful), it would make for an extremely fascinating book and I would definitely read it! If anything, it's an interesting account of the differences in perception between the minds of adults (biased, logic-dominated) and the minds of children (untainted and imaginative).

Deplume, try not to get disheartened by the arrogance of others, take everything with a grain of salt, and remember the reason why you started this thread in the first place. Just to get opinions. Keep the updates coming!

I'd just like to finish by adding that I think that your relationship with Small sounds fantastic. As someone else pointed out, I think it's great that you provide the kind of environment where her input is valued. When and if I ever have children, I'll be taking a leaf out of your book, pun intended.

Once again, thanks very much, for supporty goodness. lol.

MY SMALL IS HOME.. YAAAAAY!

Her grandparents asked me what her recent obsession with ''noises and visitors'' was.. didn't want to freak them out, so I told them I wasn't sure.
Anyway, they've bought her a book about a 'space dog' which she thoroughly enjoyed... if she asks to hear anything else, and then tells me it's about dogs.. she's been rumbled!!

There's a few new noises I'm going to ask her if she wants to check out later, but at the moment she's busy unpacking, and playing with all the toys she's missed. (She's spoken to me for about a grand total of 5 minutes since she got home.. sigh)

This 28th of October thing is really weird. Until I joined up, I never read any of the dark knight stuff before, despite lurking for a year or so. (How I don't know, it's ALWAYS being talked about.
But I have heard that date mentioned a few times off ATS.
I've got a few theories, but it's not relevant to smalls chats with me, and I don't want to have to start defending myself all over again, so I'll leave it for now.
Might be an interesting few months though.

it can only be described as a work in progress, but here it is:
www.yourfilelink.com...

sorry for using external site, ats media upload just doesn't work for me.

it's a small piece of audio from original youtube video after some changes. i doubt anyone will hear any words there, but it sounds a little bit suspicious - like there really is a voice to be heard. technical details: it's a high frequency part of the original recording, frequencies between 0 - 1760hz were turned down gradually (-150db at 0hz, 0db at 1760hz), then the result was normalized and slowed down with pitch lowered at the same time (waveform is stretched, it's 2 times slower and all frequencies are 2 times lower). all editing was made at 192khz/32bit float to prevent distortions and to preserve as many details as possible. it's so small because i've crossed my 3g bandwidth limit and i'm on 32kbps connection.

either it's a voice, or it's just some creepy sound. i just doubt this route leads anywhere with such a low quality of recording. i may try different videos tomorrow, i have one compilation of such videos downloaded from youtube, it was posted in this thread already. either that, or we're looking in the wrong direction (morse code? some other code? low frequency part?). but if kids are really hearing something, then looking at the relatively quiet high frequency part is worth a try. isn't it that kids are hearing higher frequencies better while lower frequencies are harder to hear for them? if that's the case, then that voice may be well within audible frequency range for adult human - but since adult humans hear lower frequencies better - and we have tons of those in these recordings - they have a hard time to hear something quiet, hidden behind loud rumblings. loud for them, perhaps not so for the kids.

Hello Everyone,
I have read all the reply's to this thread and I love this kind of stuff! I really don't understand why some folks join forum's like this one and have to jump up and down like a three year old yelling Fake, or show a photo or it ain't real.
If somebody does not believe what is being discussed
or has doubt's about evidence, Ok then by all means point this out and move on. Don't be a bully and keep yelling FAKER,FAKER, be a grown up adult! This is not the school yard playground.
Sorry about the rant but some folk's just get under my skin. Deplume I think you are a wonderful mother and you are going to be so proud of your daughter one day and it will be due to your love and understanding for your daughter to develop in all ways! I do have the link to the other thread the everyone wants, where there is a map that shows where these have happened! I hope this works for I have never imbedded a link before! Look forward to more info on such a cool thread!

I've refrained from commenting until now so that I could read the entire thread. So, first of all, my regards to deplume--and thanks for bringing this here.

But I wanted to comment on Jedi Hamster's idea of Morse Code in the message. The first time it was mentioned, 'way back near the start of the thread, I just blew it off. But I want to offer something here, just for what it's worth:

NASA & SETI Astronomers Detect Alien Signal

... As to the signal itself, this is what Rupert Matthews reports in his book Alien Encounters: True Stories of Aliens, UFO’s and other E.T. Phenomenon which was published in 2008. NASA and SETI astronomers picked up on a radio signal that seemed to have a coded message sometime in the mid 1980’s. The signal was coming from Jupiter’s moon Ganymede and was definitely artificial in nature. The signal was run through multiple computers and no sense could be made as to the meaning of it. President Reagan was notified and an international conference was assembled to determine how to make an attempt to contact whatever beings were sending the message. Eventually it was decided to send a signal to the exact location that the message was coming from on Ganymede. This message would be sent in Morse Code which was considered to be the easiest for an alien civilization to decode. It would read "We have received your signal, but we do not understand it. Please resend your signal using this language and transmission code." Immediately after this message was sent, the mysterious signal from Ganymede ceased its transmission so everyone assumed that we would receive a new signal in Morse Code in a quick period of time. But day after day and then week after week no signal came and officials began to give up hope of actually receiving a response. Finally after more than a month, a signal was detected coming from the original radio source on Ganymede and incredibly it was in Morse Code. Eagerly NASA scientists translated our first direct contact with an alien civilization. And it said "We were not talking to you."

Now, as humorous as that is, if it's true it brings up an intriguing possibility: There is precedent for the use of Morse Code to communicate with creatures from Earth.

So it is at least worth the attempt, if someone can figure out how one might extract the code....

If it isn't harming her, you shouldn't do anything that may cause trauma to your daughter as things like that happened to me at her age. I started reading tarot cards and I'v been reading them for 3 years now allot of personal friends and family say I'm probably a natural witch, I don't read to anyone else other than family and close friends.

This is very interesting. Children are very perceptive and don't have as many biases and mind walls set up that in my opinion they are more likely to pick up things we are blind too.

I've been following this thread since the beginning and now no posts in over 24 hours? I guess maybe the boards are slow with it being a holiday weekend and all. I am hoping this thread continues... I wish I had more to add... I spoke with my best friend about this at length last night and showed her the original vid. Her daughter is 6 and I wanted to get her permission to have her take a listen. I got the green light but have to wait till the little one gets home next week. If this thread is still progressing at that time I will add in the results.

Hi, I'm new here.

The problem with the above mores code story is that morse code needs to be decoded into a written language. And for that reason I doubt the above story as it imples that whoever answered the message was already communicating in english (or whatever written language was provided to decode into).

Imagine you know morse code but you're given a (I forgot what they're called) "decode sheet" that tells you the "letter" that each set of beeps or flashes represents. Now imagine that the decipering code is in Japanese. Unless you already understand and can read Japanese, the decoded symbols will still have no meaning to you. All you will do is take a series of beeps that have no meaning and translate them into a series of symbols that have no meaning.

I'm assuming that extra terrestrial civilisations don't speak english. And even if they did understand our languages and writing why would they not respond immediately.

...jus sayin...

What does strike me as interesting is the "get underground part" of "the message" for a number of reasons.

1. The sun goes through 11 year sunspot cycles (more or less sunspots on the surface of the sun) and 2012 is apparently going to be the biggest peak in a long time. One of the possible senarios for 2012 is a Massive Coronal Ejection (huge solar flare), which if it happens would flood the earth with radiation and scorch everything including plants and animals.

2. I've read elsewhere on the internet about various Goverments building large underground bases specifically for this (although underground military bases are generally a good idea as they can't be seen by spy satellites). Russia has one built under a mountain that could supposedly withstand 6 nuclear strikes on on top of the other.

3. I always consider the possibility of deception. What if the message is not from elsewhere but is generated here on earth in the hopes that the general public will figure out what it means and because it is unusual believe that it is from elsewhere...for what reason anyone would want the general public to believe in a message from elsewhere, I can continue to guess.

Don't ever take anything at face value. Question everything. If you see, hear and told or shown anything always wonder why.
