I hope this thread is still getting attention, because this is crazy...

That sound reminded me of something and I couldn't put a finger on it until just a moment ago...

You remember that movie "Mission to Mars"? Well I always enjoyed watching that, and it didn't occur to me until just now, but...well check out this clip. It took me forever to find.

Start the video at 13:05. What if this is what is going on...

Can you imagine if it really is a message, holy crap.

Well, did my best, but came up empty other than what was already posted. If there is something embedded or encoded, it's beyond me.

Yeah here is my thought.
They left all the grown ups in the world and went for your 6 y.o to deliver the message, and they wonder why no body is listening

Thank you so much for sharing! Very interesting, indeed. I read many comments....all quite interesting. I hope this isn't a duplicate.....

Have you thought about using reverse speech? It is a function of the brain and works on a subliminal level. As each of us talk, images and concepts are expressed about the subject matter of forward speech via reverse speech. I haven't done that much with it personally. I've heard that it can add insight to personal conversations.

This website looks interesting....not my area of expertise....but it seems like it might be something to consider!

I listened to the sample and thought I heard the same thing as well. Get "underground". I agree as you stated, it could be just the way it sounds or maybe my perception of what sound was made may have been tainted since I listened to the audio after reading that you thought you heard get underground.

Oh well....

Great story for us all to read Deplume, I have read your posts over and over and there is just something thats niggling me that I can't put my finger on, my gut says that some of what you are writing could very well be embellished to fit your own ideas. I don't deny that children are more aware than adults when it comes to the paranormal, but something about all of this doesn't sit 100% with me. I have read many many threads on ATS written in the same creative style as yours and they have always garnished attention at the start and then turn into many pages and then something happens and the thread turns as the OP get caught by contradicting themselves and finding themselves in a corner.

All I will say to you is I hope you have a good memory.

*If I am wrong, (very seldom am), I will eat my hat.

You're right, that you have to take what I'm saying at face value.

I've not written in a 'creative style' It's just the way I write.

These conversations did happen, exactly as I have written them, I have pages of notes, in a little hello kitty notebook, of the things she has said over the last few days.
Short of posting pictures of the paper (Which I'm bound to have written later or photoshopped) and the voice recording (which is bound to be heavily edited, and probably not my child but recorded off the tv) I really don't know what else to do...

I didn't post it for flags or stars (I'm not really sure what they're supposed to be worth, even as a long time lurker, they don't seem to mean anything)

My interest was in her determination, that she KNOWS what it is, and that she can't figure out why we can't too.
I just wanted to share something I thought was interesting, with a bunch of people who I thought may also find it interesting.

If small turns round to me tomorrow and says ''I don't think it's a message, I've decided it's robots, and sheep'' then I'll bloody well tell you, and we can all have a good laugh about kids saying the daftest things.

But as I never said she had answer, or that the theory that it's a message, is the correct one.
Or even that I believe anything further than her absolute sincerity in what she says..
I really don't see how I'll ''get caught contradicting myself'', or how I ''need a good memory''...

Cross examination is not necessary.

It's surprising how children pick up things adults can't. But in the same time, this makes me wonder two things:

1. why is the sound only heard in certain areas of the world?

2. if the sound is really a warning from 'visitors' then do they want these particular areas to listen to them? maybe there's something huge going to happen there?

I used to hear/feel a rumbling from the Earth on a remote farm I lived on for 5 years, What is extraordinary about this farm was that it was virtually impossible to get a landline or cell phone to work on the property. It was on top of a ley line or two. Psychics would pick up on that when they met me....2 mentioned it to me.

I've not heard the sounds since leaving that area.

HMMMMMMMM.

I just played your cleaned up version for my 4 year old daughter. Let me preface this with the fact that she may possibly be the most outspoken 4 year old ever!! She has a 16 year old brother and a 12 year old brother, so she learned at a very early age that in order to be heard around this circus she had to speak up and make some sense. Needless to say, she is never at a loss for words. So, I played the clip for her and asked her what it was. She put her hands over her ears and said "turn it off, I don't like it!" I asked her what she didn't like about it and she said "that is the saddest sound ever." I asked her why she thought it was sad and she said "don't you hear it??" I was completely at a loss for words and just said "no, I don't hear anything." She then said "don't play it again mommy" and then she went back to cooking plastic spaghetti and meatballs....lol

So what the heck was that?? I have no idea??

Maybe she isn't aware that it's not a case of 'no-one listening'.. Maybe she just assumes everyone can hear whatever it is she hears, or gets from these noises?
Maybe it's only her in the whole wide world that can hear something in it.
If it is just her, then I'm still glad I shared it, and that people are looking at the noises.
And I'm still pleased I listened to her.. because as far as I'm concerned it's one of the best things any mum can do. Listen.

BUT....

I was born in 1984, and same as a previous poster, always felt destined to die at 27, which i turned this year. Ive always been into the 27 crew... Jim Morrison, Janis Loplin, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain (and now Amy winehouse, but dont like her anyway)

But, ive always felt i would join them, and i felt October.

But i also dont believe this.

I'm not a sceptic but I'm also a 1984 birth, also from the UK and have never found Amy Winehouse to be talented too.

Only difference is, I always figured I'd die at 33.

OP, hope your daughter informs you of more and we get to the bottom of those noises too.

Well i had a visitor outside my house last night, and after the earthquake it was really unwelcome... A cat got into a fight with a skunk and lost... Really sucked because everyone thought it was a gas main that had broken or sewer line rupture, at 4:30 a.m. nice to wake up to the whole neighbohood smelling like rancid methane eh... What a week!

So far...

Generally kids, so far, who are listening to this, are not liking what they hear. (Except mine, mines odd.. :up

It could just be the noise that they don't like.
It's a harsh sound, and I understand that.
My little one said she didn't understand the language, but she is sure there's a language there to be understood, but she got a message from it just the same.
It's weird the feeling it gives off to certain people.
But as I said, maybe it's just the noise itself. It's not exactly nursery rhymes is it?

Wasn't there a map here in ATS someone was working on registering exactly where people were hearing the noise?

Fantastic story, I saw my friends baby a few days ago and for what ever reason, I just happened to think that, as an infant/child the brain is raw and un-cluttered, pretty much a super advanced organic computer. And that super computer has the need and ability to fire its neurons in billions of different directions trying to wire itself into what we would call reality. Once it makes a connection to senses it will continue on that path, whether it's , happy, sad, angry food, jealousy, etc. My point being, what an absolutely fantastic species we are at that age, fresh out of the package with no scrapes, burns or coffee ring stains. Kids are loosely wired when new, its only when we get older that our wiring gets set in its ways and ceases to explore the wrong ways and different alleys.

Deplume, this is incredible, awesome and extremely insightful. Your child is fully aware. I have a son who's almost 13 now, and I must say, I've been in awe of him since he started speaking full sentences before the age of 2. By the time he was 3 he told me he wanted to grow up and build (this is the word he used) real body parts to help people who have lost theirs...he had no idea science had already been working on this. He has had many "universal ideas" as I call them ever since.

These type of children, I agree with you are not indigo's, but special in "other ways". I have a daughter who's now 18 and just left for college. When she was about 9, she woke up one morning and was getting ready for school. She came to the kitchen to have her breakfast and I looked at her to say goodmorning...when we looked at each other, we both noticed we had a huge lump on our foreheads in the same spot. Our mouths immediately fell to the ground as we instantly realized we had been injured in the same dream by the same well...whatever it was.

I said to her, "if it weren't for your injury to your head, I never would have mentioned my dream to you"
She replied, " I just cried for you to come and help me and you did"
I said to her, "How did you do that"
She replied, "I just called you because I knew you would come"
My reply...tears

I won't get into what the dream was about except to say we were both fighting something montrous. At some point this huge monster picked us both up and clanked our heads together like you see in cartoons. The very next morning, we both woke up recalling the dream exactly as it happened. I must admit, I've had some extremely freaky experiences by myself, but never one where someone called me into a dream that resulted in injuries. Our entire family that morining was like "what happened to you guys"? Imagine trying to explain that
. Luckily for me, I have been with my husband for twenty years so he excepts me and my freaky experiences, as he had been a witness to one experience in particular I had while asleep in the bed with him. On the other hand, when I got to work that day, I had to wear bangs covering my forehead...lol which I haven't done since I was like 12

This is when I realised that two out of four of my children carry something that is on my maternal side and goes wayyyyy back! Myself, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and my daughter all share the same birthmark in the same spot on our outter right thigh also. Don't know what to think of this though. I have two older college aged daughters and they do not share any of this, but are very intuitive.

I just had to tell you this to say, IMHO, do not under any circumstances ask your daughter anything about what she shared with you. Be patient, she will speak to you about it when the time is right...trust me! If you begin to ask her things in any kind of way, you may taint/sway her true identity/energy...again, this is my opinion and has been my experience with my own children. Your child is more in tune with you than you could possibly imagine and she will probably never show fear unless she is taught too. She is still very young and if you leave her be, you will find out more in due time.

You must be wonderful parents to have such a special child. They are not born to just anybody.

Lol, thank you.
I don't feel the need to get angry, or engage in bum-fights with people over what I've put, because the thread never really had a point. It was just an observation of someone saying something odd.
I welcome debunkers, and have responded to peoples explanations. (Disney's WallE has a lot to answer for!!)

That said, I can understand why people who share things here on ATS, flare up when people don't just question the integrity of what they are talking about, but them as a person too. Personal observations, or insinuations are really not necessary at all..
I'm waiting for "What kind of mother uses her daughters words to gain attention on a website on the internet... for shame...." ..any minute now..

She's away for nearly a week now, and will be hunting for school shoes, so she may possibly forget all about it.
Then again she's never been one for letting something go when she's determined she's in the right..
Just before she went to bed, she asked me ''Mummy, what does intergalactic mean?''
