My suggestion is to give yourself a trigger that is outside of your body. Such as in Inception (the movie) where the top doesn't stop spinning when he is in a dream state. I've had the same trigger for 20+ years and it's always worked. Won't say what it is as, just as in the Inception movie, everyone must find their own trigger and keep it secret so that it can't be compromised!!!

Then you are finally prepared and even if what you thought would come didn't you are still prepared for an alternative option.
