Hey , you computer whizzes, I put one of those numbers in and it gave me a Russian website but didn't know how to even dial it from the U.S. I tried it in the Y.S. since someone said it was in Michigan or some where and it was not in service.....

Do any of you know Russian enough to know how to call the number in Russia as it seems to vary by some city code you add but maybe not for cell phones.?

These numbers are just hotspot coordinates on the image map...so that the safe buttons are clickable. These numbers are not a clue, if I type in a random number google will hit it somewhere.

Are you telling me the dead/alive cat in the box pic iS the "safe" picture you guys are putting numbers into?

If you do get it, you can get the 'scrapbook' addon to save all these pages that pop up 'as is' so that you can go back and check them out later if they change and you wanted to inspect a 'before' version.

This is a quick recap. I only wanted to check and summarize all the valid subdirectories. No sources quoted, but all the participants on this thread are to be thanked.

i didnt mean the safe would open on the 8th , i think its when the next picture/clue/caption appears, it looks pre-programmed , the timer at the bottom of the screen is counting down to the last clue, the caption under the picture is the clue, not the tale of the cat. And the safe doesnt open yet , only 8 works, we need to be PATIENT and wait for the numbers to work - also part of the countdown --im guessing--, when the picture changes a new number is use-able. Sounds do-able, maybe they are waiting to see how much attention it gets, not alot till recently from what ive seen, it was on GLP a while ago and no one touched it untill recently so weve got alot of waiting to do. Lets just hope when the safe opens its not a pic of George Bush Snr "flipping us off" then an international 4 min warning sends the world into a frenzy.

WOW.... 60 pages later and it is still being deciphered? Am I correct? If so.....does anyone mind laying out a summary of what the site is all about and if it is indeed as creepy as once thought (6 pages in to the thread?)???

on the whole - creepier than first thought, its all hidden symbols n stuff , but its mostly confusing at the min.safe wont open , and everything is covered in symbols, or sayings and numbers n stuff 0o i hope its just anonymous messing around lol

oct282011.com down. It looks like someone else might have registered it (the domain was set to expire, someone knew it, and "stole" the site before open had a chance to get at it. OR it could be part of the plan. OR it could be a problem with opens server.
