They all seem to be the same picture, just modified. I'm going by the fact that the shadows of the trees don't change. Pretty good job at 'chopping, as it seems the people just disappear and re-appear, with no noticeable background changes.

I think you are right, what is the order and pattern involved?

First picture seems full
second the chair people are gone
third blanket people are gone
fourth river person is gone
fifth person by tree is gone or changes into what looks like a child or dwarf
so it starts with the chair people then left to blanket people then left again to river person then right/backwards to tree person

The baby stroller represent Time, I think. At first I over complicated my attempt at deciphering that page. I caught myself doing this from the beginning, when I found the Thinker page. A lot of the clues are simple representations I think. This page of five pix is plain to see. Don't get caught up into whether the pix are 'shopped or just showing slightly different perspectives. The shadows are all the same.

So do the different pictures represent different possibilities of reality? That would be my best guess

I'll go with that too.

However, the changes to the pic only deal with people. No trees, grass, or water were changed. Nature around us remains constant, but people are the ones that change.

Tried something that I think may be leading somewhere...

The pix just represent the same thing open has tried to show with all the clues. You need to stand outside of four dimensional space in order to observe. Once you do that, you will see whatever you 'intend' to see. I think the puzzle was solved awhile ago. Now Open is just repeating things, making them simpler. Open wants as many as possible to learn the techniques to accomplish what I described above. I'm pretty sure the October 28th cookie is BS. Another; " Looks like my calculations were wrong" kind of deal.

Or maybe he's just banking on human nature. Give someone a deadline, and they will actually try to work on something.

Perhaps these pictures have something to do with how much we notice in our daily lives?
(It most definitely has to do with perception no matter how it is viewed.)

How much does change affect us?
Especially when we see small changes?
Do we really see ‘all’ around us through our perception?
Do we see only what we want to see?

What is also our perception of these changes?:

Disappearance
Illusion
Water
Twins
Shadow

Some of the things we might have already been discussing perhaps?

Most would immediately presume that the first picture would be the correct picture...yet if we would never see the original picture, we would not know really which one was the representative one. Any one of them could have been altered to include or exclude various items.

Just some things to ponder...

Exactly. It sure has been fun for the most part though. Even the Transcendentalists vs. Realists was interesting for awhile.

Also 'possibility' is the title...there might be a number of possible outcomes to any situation...

The site seems to be being attacked or getting a lot of hits, causing it to hardly respond to requests.
