I experienced a blinding flash of light that threw me back struck in awe. Remember, I was not trying to achieve anything, just trying to study the insides of my eye. Kept me in a safe distance of mirrors for a couple of decades

Tried some more later on, but was put off by the freakish distortions of the face. But basically, they're nothing else than what you'd might experience if you'd stare at anything else for the same period of time.

I'm going to try some more in the future, I am a mystic at heart.

... and this one will probably lead nowhere... ???

Also I noticed that you can "see" past the iris at certain angles, really weird

I just see myself. Sometimes younger, sometimes older and crone-ish, but always just me. When I look at others, that gets weird.

I have actually tried a couple of times, but the spotlights interfere.
I will try again in natural light with a smaller mirror.
