So the cat will be both alive and dead.

Or if it's not our universe it's what I first suspected.........time line

Two time lines together causing cross overs and DEJA VU

Cat can be alive in one and dead in another.

Time-line vs. universe...............really there is no difference right. Every time you make a new decision a new universe branches off or creates a new timeline within our multi-verse.

You have TWO CHOICES, which will you choose?

Maybe a big hiccup is coming on Oct 28 that will cause a major choice and we will split into different timelines.

I was born a string theorist, and I think you might have been, as well

I am liking where the theory of branes is going these days...

But yes, striking similarities, no?

Yay! Someone noticed. You warm the cockles of my heart. I saw Nassim vid's before, he is one smart cookie and fun to watch too. I like the alternative people very much. But 45 10 minute youtube videos can b a little intimidating too. Random pieces assemble my picture. I need time to absorb. My ruler is Saturn

I'm glad those damn trolls left too. They take much out of this thread (mainly time and energy) and add nothing. A negative influence at best...

He's hell of fun to watch, made me laugh. It was 8 hrs long and I couldn't stop it was so interesting! I watched 4 hrs one day and 4 hrs the next. I want to watch it again now after reading this thread. I watched it literally the day before I found this thread.

If we "open the box" and find out what makes the universe, what then?

Either all hell breaks loose and there's destruction,

OR

All hell breaks loose and chaos results (eventually) in order.

All about purity of your intention. This is what the "trolls" earlier were alluding to. Can't remember which ones (sorry). There is great risk if you realize your God power. In wrong hands/hearts, it destructs instead of constructs.

I can understand from a fundamental point of view and grasp most of the concepts when presented without too many equations. I 'get' math, I just never pursued it very far.
I did notice in 4.0 of the doc it mentions time flowing both directions. (hyperion cantos)

Hehehe, no coincidences. Free mind, free thought, unencumbered by main stream lies. Gets a simpleton like me every time. Its a lot to absorb and yes, I need to break it up a little.

I'm glad scribd doesn't work for me though (no account, all I get to see is the table of contents and many blank pages for some reason) cos this maths stuff just sends me into brain breaking orbit. I can add and subtract whole numbers, a little multiplication and division is fine. I never got fractions though, 2/22 x 3/33? I have no idea and leave that to people who can.

"An alleged scientific discovery has no merit unless it can be explained to a barmaid." and I am happy to be a barmaid. Nite all, thanks for the ride. Back tomorrow.

TO ALL WHO READ THIS:
Please notice the new location of this thread. It has been moved to an appropriate location on ATS. I'll explain why......But first,

A tribute to OPEN:

Here's a video for you, it comes from my heart, and I hope you realize why I am doing what I am doing.....
Please listen to the song. At least once. Then continue reading.

I am a member of ATS. I try my best to contribute the knowledge I've acquired in this lifetime to explaining the topics presented here. I do so from an unbiased view, without prejudice, looking at facts, and facts alone. I am a skeptic by nature. It's not that I don't believe, but I base my life upon solid evidence, and apply the instances of ambiguity to an aspect of reality called /pondering/.

Here's a few tidbits from ATS itself:

The simple yet effective motto of our membership is "deny ignorance", which signifies an effort to apply the principals of critical thought and peer review to the provocative topics covered within. More than a slogan, our members have embraced the motto as our collective cultural standard, demanding all to aspire to a higher standard. These simple two words have galvanized a broad membership that spans the spectrum from highly speculative conspiracy writers to staunch doubters. The result is a unique collaboration of diverse individuals rallying under this simple statement to learn from each other, discover new truths, and imagine new ideas that expand our minds. This motto has life. It has purpose. It demands ATS members to think. It is a state of mind. It is a sense of purpose. It is a statement against the paradigm. It is a rage against the mindless status-quo. The idea of "deny ignorance" isn't a goal that ATS hopes to accomplish. Instead, it's a challenge. A call to all those who come here to aspire to a higher state of awareness through informed discussion and debate. Deny ignorance is what we do. It's how we think. It's how we talk. It's how we listen. Ignorance is the social disease of history. Is the evil that men do, the reason history repeats, and the cause of intolerance. We deny it. it's not welcome here. Within these boundaries, it has no strength. Here, ignorance is denied.

Let's define ignorance:

Ignorance (or witlessness) is a state of being uninformed. (lack of knowledge)[1]. The word "ignorant" is an adjective describing a person in the state of being unaware and is often used as an insult. "Ignoramus" is commonly used in the US, the UK, and Ireland as a name of someone who is overwhelmingly ignorant.

The preservation of knowledge is one of the driving factors in my life. It's why I choose to reproduce, and have children. I teach other people I meet, most of which are friends, information that I know, to help them be informed. It's a simple goal, and one that is satisfying.

Here are other factors, which I agree with, and is another reason why I am a member here:

We refuse to allow short "drive-by" posting that add nothing to the thread. We refuse to allow insults and mayhem that you'll see on many other boards. We refuse to allow spam and hate speech. We promote intelligent posting. We promote productive debate and collaborative discussion. We promote the examination of any topic as long as manners are maintained. We respect the content of other sites and encourage linking. We respect our members' content and defend its credibility and their rights.

So you see I hope, Open, where I am coming from. I will not and cannot speak for other members here. I am explaining things from my own point of view. I am an individual open to new ideas, new thoughts, but I must have credibility to back up what what is being told me. I lost my faith years ago, and slowly, I am regaining it back, but the skeptic in me requires proof. I don't even require tangible proof, I am content with a philosophically sound argument.

Here are some facts I must present before my peers, and I warn you, the truth is never pretty:

1) I went underground early in this thread. Covert Ops. Working with other members we discovered your name, your location, and out of respect we never revealed that information on this thread. We won't because we respect your privacy. You may remain anonymous. Any disclosure you wish to share will come from your own words. Our objective was to discover the truth behind your message. Discovering personal information was the first step inside your mind. ATS is like that. We seek to be informed.

Continued......

Well in the original story....yes

If you think the way Michio Kaku does he will say that the cat doesn't exist unless you open the box and observe it.

This is slightly incorrect. Read this book
quantumenigma.com...

Assuming you have time... LOL

The cat manifests either alive OR dead *before* you open the box. It's a nuance but it's a big one. It works with rocks or other non-living entities as well. Somehow there is a feedback loop -- consciousness. That knows what you are going to ask (hypothesis) before you even lift the lid.

And also another nuance -- "exist" -- well it does exist in quantum state (that which can be either or or even both). It only MANIFESTS -- materializes with complete "back story" -- once it reads your mind and knows already what you are going to expect (i.e., your *intention*)

I have spent wayyyy too much time thinking about the cat in the box. And playing my own experiments. Test it out.

(wishing my explanation was better... )

I've been thinking about the image of lay and wake being separated...

I believe the conscious underneath is suppose to represent sub-conscious which would explain why it is lowered.

Whenever we lay down our subconscious leaves our body, and time is "passing" for us as it is gone. But what happens exactly in that period? Do we return to the true reality? What is the true reality?

Not to be taken as a truth, but closer than the media has ever allowed before.
One must wonder why now?

......from before, a continuation.

2) I am not a professional on human psyche, but it is of my opinion and a few others that you may be experiencing a delusion. Here's a definition:

The following can indicate a delusion:
The patient expresses an idea or belief with unusual persistence or force.
That idea appears to exert an undue influence on the patient's life, and the way of life is often altered to an inexplicable extent.
Despite his/her profound conviction, there is often a quality of secretiveness or suspicion when the patient is questioned about it.
The individual tends to be humorless and oversensitive, especially about the belief.
There is a quality of centrality: no matter how unlikely it is that these strange things are happening to him, the patient accepts them relatively unquestioningly.
An attempt to contradict the belief is likely to arouse an inappropriately strong emotional reaction, often with irritability and hostility.
The belief is, at the least, unlikely, and out of keeping with the patient's social, cultural and religious background.
The patient is emotionally over-invested in the idea and it overwhelms other elements of their psyche.
The delusion, if acted out, often leads to behaviors which are abnormal and/or out of character, although perhaps understandable in the light of the delusional beliefs.
Individuals who know the patient observe that the belief and behavior are uncharacteristic and alien.

I will let my peers read the above definitions, and let them decide how many apply to you. Hopefully, you can understand why I post such information. It's so people may be informed.

3) People need facts. Anything else leads to a wild imagination. If you had a message, you lost the majority of your audience. People were accepting at first, and then became disillusioned. I'll use Occam's Razor in this regard. If you had a message, it's not for you to say it's too much for them to handle all at once. See #2 above. It's harsh, I know, but it's a truth of sorts, albeit my opinion, and mine alone. If others agree with me, then so be it. Any message that can be explained simply has the most truth to it, and everyone can understand it. People base their lives on facts. We live in this reality.
Of course people want more, and that is what is beautiful about human nature. We strive to improve ourselves. We do that by accepting new information that's beneficial, and disregard that which is worthless to us. It's a survival trait that has been functioning for thousands of years. It's a meme, of course, yet some get trapped and others free themselves from unproductive thinking. Only the best memes survive. Will yours? Only time will tell.....

Best of luck in this life, Open. I really mean that.

Is it because more people are getting closer to the truth, so the group consciousness is manifesting that truth by inspiring some people to make somewhat accurate portrayals of reality in the media? As "the quickening" happens it may be hard to suppress us all.

I've thought about where mine goes to. I have lucid dreams which I believe is me going to other time lines or realties. On my big ride back in Oct I took a trip to the "white library" If you've seen any of my other posts I came back knowing things I didn't before and with directions on what to read and watch to collect the puzzle pieces. This thread is no coincidence as it's bridging gaps and making me remember what I was told. I call the white library the "white room" it was a such fantastic trip I woke up crying like a baby. I was also sick for months with motion sickness . I started tuning in different sounds I never heard before. I ask to go back every time I lay my head down..........>> I want more!

From wiki about the poem Hyperion by Keats

"the scene changes to Apollo (the new sun god, also god of music, civilisation and culture) weeping on the beach. Here Mnemosyne (goddess of memory) encounters him and he explains to her the cause of his tears: he is aware of his divine potential, but as yet unable to fulfill it. By looking into Mnemosyne's eyes he receives knowledge which transforms him fully into a god."
