To me it looks like Open finally realized that he was leading people in circles by throwing in too many clues and simplified the process reducing it to the countdown and Pi. What for him is (supposedly) common knowledge to us looked like gibberish so simplification was a rational step.
The document cingularity found makes some good points that I can relate to (halfway through it so far).

Add: I suspect that the puzzles were meant to give the "scientific" background/explanation for the observations made practicing the manual. If that's true I can only say too complicated. Took the focus out of the practice, created friction, frustration, suspicion and what not.

I agree completely.

If anything, the over complication created that special mystery at first that got the attention needed.
But then, it took away from practicing the manuals, the real direct experience. And created a lot of running around in circles.

Already halfway through the pi document? It must be really interesting and it will make things clearer for us, I believe. I will read it tomorrow, with a fresh mind.

Time to rest.

I think I need to revise and add to my little list.

It one thing to come on here and give clues. It is a completely different thing to create multiple accounts and bump this thread to kingdom come.

Why has this caused suspicion and running around in circles? You tell me genius. You are manipulating people. Some people, myself included, do not appreciate it.

Nah, something like that had to be planned months and months in advance. Trust me (in marketing; I know these things). So, no "all of a sudden."

That said I do think it's cool that Elenin (named after Leonid Elenin) is Nin(e)-Ele(ven) backwards.

Disagree. Some of us are more left brain and others more right brained. Now I always get these two mixed up. What I mean is that many of us need to be presented with BOTH the scientific reasoning AND the direct experience.

In my case I had the direct experience first, 15 years ago, without any drugs or anything. It just .... happened. And I didn't understand it. Shrinks called it what they will. It took me years to figure out "what the heck happened??" and parse it all........... and finding the kind of information Open is presenting was what I needed. Then and only then was I ready to open myself back up to the direct experience. Which has been immensely fun.

And I know others who first discovered and put together all the information in their logical, skeptical scientifically trained brains.... and *then* started practicing the direct experience. And many in between, who started with the practice in a ritualistic disciplined sort of way that would put me to shame, and over years and years they eventually tasted at least a fraction of what I tasted when it "just happened" to me. Then there are others who know just enough of scientific background to be dangerous, and are easy going enough to give practice a bit of a shot too... and then POP there they go and they are like walking Buddha's and where did THAT come from.

We all have different learning styles. We are all different (yet one).

So IMO Open has done a good job addressing both sides to the hive brain. And then allowed us all here to discuss and speculate and share -- and find people we relate to who can help us just a bit farther up our own ladder or we help them.

One thing I've noticed about this website is that regardless of our actions the website progresses.

Grower, this brings me much sadness. When you started this thread and we all began to work together in solving this, we became united, yes? A family, made up of many diverse people, working together. Each time someone took a step forward...made a discovery...they made sure that all understood and could take the next step together. Now, we are fractured. There are the "in the knows" and the "do not knows". Suspicion...doubt...insults...discourtesy...even a bit of profanity.

What has happened? What has happened to the idea of free and easy exchange of ideas? What has happened to each being treated with fairness, dignity, and respect? What has happened?
