.....the nearest orderly motioned me close, and started to whisper into my ear about how they had to take me away, that it was part of the scene, and
that they would be fastening me to the gurney with restraints, but explained how they would leave a buckle unlocked and how to unloosen it, and how to
escape. He basically explained to me what they were doing to me, and how to get free, and in what order, and I soaked it in while standing there.
Then he said, just play along, and resist us a little.
All four orderlies converged on me, grabbing me, and I struggled against them, hollering, "NO, you will NEVER take me!" The whole classroom went
still except for the five of us, and amidst a moderate struggle, I found myself laying on my back, tightly strapped to the gurney, and we exited the
room, and I felt myself being pushed down the hallway, looking at the ceiling. We went several hallways this way, and several halls that way, to
where I completely lost orientation. I started working on the restraining buckles, as per the previous instructions. Both my hands became free, but
I lay there, being pushed along.
Suddenly, they started pushing me faster, escalating into a full blown run, and we were zipping along as I looked up and noticed we were headed
towards a set of double doors labeled Cafeteria. As we passed through the doors, they stopped, and left me half strapped to the gurney, sailing
across the cafeteria, directly towards a row of tables. I sat up, in fear, and got one leg unbuckled before I crashed into the tables, flipping the
gurney and piling me head first into the rest of them. It was then that I realized that they weren't real cafeteria tables, just movie props, made
out of painted foam and cardboard. As I lay there, trying to loosen my last connection to the gurney, I heard the word "CUT!" again. I had
loosened my final bond, stood up, and watched as the burly man in black walked into the room. He was laughing, saying I did an excellent job, and
motioned to sit down at a set of tables to the side that I hadn't ploughed into. I was dusting bits of foam and cardboard off me, but I obliged and
sat beside him. He had a folder in his hands, and opened it in front of me. Off on the left side of the folder, in bold print, he pointed to a
number, which now read $71.2m. He patted me on the back, said I'll work out fine, just follow the script from now on. I asked him what script? He
looked at me puzzled, produced another folder, and handed it to me. I opened it up. It was a comic book, a hybrid of Superman, Iron man, and various
villains. I looked back at him, and asked him if I could give him some input for the movie he was making. He frowned, and looked at me, clearly
puzzled. I distinctly remember him asking me, "Well, why would you say that boy?", and I answered him, "I know all things comic books. I've read
them all." He started to grin, then laugh, then burst with heaving wreaks of laughter. "Oh my god, son", between fits of laughter, "I had no
idea." "Tell me more.." As I was going to tell him my thoughts, I suddenly snapped awake, having been awakened by the click of a light switch in
the bathroom net to my bedroom by another family member. I looked at my alarm clock, and it was 4:35am.
I usually have vivid dreams like that, and this one was no different, so I thought I would share, as certain aspects definitely relate to this thread.
The weirdest thing, however, was that when I was snapped back, I had the taste of cardboard in my mouth, my left jaw hurt from where I impacted the
fake tables, and my left shoulder was slightly sore. I have NEVER, EVER brought back elements of one of my dreams back into the physical reality.
That was the first time. That's what stuck with me today.
