New Creepy 10/28/11 Website Mystery

Again, my brain doesn't work like a lot of other peoples here so I'm still missing a lot of connections from previous pictures that were posted on the site lol

I forgot to add one that is probably most pertinent to our current situation....

28th October, 1929 : The Monday starting the two days of the Wall Street Crash ( Often referred to as Black Monday ) , Following the crash on the 24th ( Black Thursday ) over the weekend a number of investors decided to pull out of the market on the ( Monday 13% drop ) and by the the next day ( Tuesday another 12% drop ) as word spread the number of investors attempting to sell shares sent the market into a downward spiral. Although the Wall Street Crash was not the only factor in the following decade of the Great Depression, the decisions made by government over the crash are considered to have had a major impact on how bad and how long the depression was.

For people who are computer savvy, what does it mean when a cookie is called sgt_standdown?

The reason I ask is because while looking at www.projectpixels.com... page information I opened up to see what cookies were being put on my computer and there was only one called sgt_standdown.

Is that a common name for cookies or is it unique to this site only?

I don't see any cookies originating from that website. Well, at least not on my machines.

Well, I went to the image of the cat, right clicked selected veiw image info, then opened the Security window.

Once there it asked "Is this website storing (cookies)on my computer?"
Bold text said yes.

Clicked the button that said view cookies.

This is what it said.

It would have been easier to calculate the milliseconds dude.
We already figured by calculation it was going to end in roughly 60 days.

Seriously though, wish I knew more about the scripts and stuff.
Maybe you can answer my question about the cookie?

One more thing, for how long has this site been like this? And did the other site(oct2811.com or something like that) went down at the same time? And now that a countdown to 28th October has been added, won't the site be updated now?

Only just managed to get back to the real world ( conspiracy land ) and it appears to have gone pants up ! Where are all of the links ? and has any real progress been made ? It is starting to look like another hoax, but I can't seem to make any sense of things that have happened since yesterday.

Well, I knew that. I had already calculated. On refreshing the 4th last digit changes by small amount i.e. it should be seconds. On doing the maths, it came to 63 days i.e. 28/10/11. I was just telling that this JS code does the same thing. But it has been written in this "encrypted" form so that you can't tell what it does just by looking at it. I posted so that people won't think there is some other code in that JS code.

And Chrome is telling me that the site has not stored any cookies.

We need that for problem solving cases.

So many things so far seem to be hidden deeper in the source code of this site I thought I would ask.

Anyways, I missed all the fun. I have just arrived. Was sleeping and in school while all this sleuthing was going on.
