I just want this thing solved. I'm tried of trying to get family members to stare into my eye for 30 mins. Lol I seem just a wee bit crazy, on a side note this website has supposedly over 180 back links if i remember correctly a couple days ago when I searched it.

Or, it has Everything to do with it.

Think about it for a moment. What did man have to look into before mirrors came about? A ripple in a pond? Yes but, Nope, we can go back further than that. Your sitting in a cave with your fellow man perhaps you have all ready discovered fire. What was your tv then? Your fellow man? A common cliche,' Monkey see Monkey do."

Well let us consider, we are cavemen it is after dark and we are in a cave, we have no tv, no cell phone, Im sure you get the idea. What else might we do?

Are not two lovers known to gaze lovingly into each others eyes? Have you ever been in love? Im sure anyone that has, knows the lovers stare....

ahhh, the "Idea." Have you ever looked into your dog or cats or pets eyes? According to all this, are they not us as well? A different presentation? lol if you have looked into your pets eyes, I bet it was with a lot more fondness than your average human being! Which really, at this point in time, is understandable!

What answer is it exactly that you are looking for if I may ask?

TNT, this was posted on GLP by an Anonymous Coward the night the manual first became available. There was a poster there who we pretty much just called "the New Zealand poster" because of the flag by their user id. They first showed up posting random words and numbers like this:
'consensus'
'cisco' '222'
'king8' 'laurel'

Some people thought it was Open because he was being just as cryptic. Eventually, he posted that quote as his explanation for why he was doing it. He also said that he wasn't Open, but claimed to know him, and said something about both of them being routers. Of course, he could have been lying and just been messing with people. I guess we could ask Open whether he could confirm this was someone he knew.

Earlier members of the Homo genus probably spent the majority of their time focusing on their physical survival... foraging, hunting, finding suitable shelter, fighting off predators, etc. They had their work cut out for them... and we should be thankful that they were very hard workers, or else none of us would be here, right now, in all our complexity, contemplating the very meaning of our existence, no less.

But, I can see what you're saying... after all, they more than likely (to a still debated extent) depended on each other for survival... spending that much of their time together, working together... a level of trust needed to be there. A level of trust that probably not a lot of us have for each other anymore.

Either it's a lie or maybe one of his friends that he mentioned

I'm not at all sure, onehuman. The most honest one I can give to you is: the answer to what Open would have us know.
