yeah we saw the site last night , just been glancing over it from time to time to see if theres any progress, but it looks as boring as i suspected if open has lost everyones attention , why set up a sit e?? it doesnt make sense , like this "not a" game of his.

Absolutely nothing. Adams was a satirical sci-fi writer. One of the characters was named Zaphod Beeblebrox. They had a ship named GAY DECEIVER, and they would "bounce" between multiverses. Complete satire. 42 WAS THE NUMBER THEIR COMPUTER CAME UP WITH WHEN ASKED THE MEANING OF LIFE. A very sharp writer, but also very comical.

I'm not the ATS thread patrol but I've had enough. We can have an intelligent, adult conversation with free exchange of ideas or we can argue like children.

The mods can and will close this thread if the T&Cs are ignored and/or things get out of hand. We've worked entirely too long and hard for that.

Surely a mature adult can practice a little self-discipline.

I'm gonna go back to an old topic here... Most of the people using the Record page are people from GLP, from what I can tell. Most of the usernames are the same.

My guess... That page was setup so anyone who stumbled across the Oct 28 page, and thought to check the source info, would have a place to go to discuss it.

Until I know who is running the site, I am going to avoid using it. I may be wrong on this, but I think the website owner's also have copyright privileges to the site. So the whacko who's running the site, and I am starting to think he/she really is some kind of odd, can use whatever we say in whatever way he/she chooses, with no credit or warning to us. And to quote Grower from a few pages back...

I remember some psyop statement Tsar Vladimir once said about democracy.

I can't quote it exactly... something about democracy being the longest lasting
form of government... and... as democracy prospered so did the jews.

At least the second part of His statement is correct.

I think one of the posters here got confirmation of exactly that from Open earlier today.

I think that site came about because there was "too much chit chat" on this thread and that was is for "just the facts".
