ok, so 555 is the height of the Washington monument in feet. So it is 6660 inches tall and in numerology the 0s are ignored. So 666+555 is really 666+666=1332/111=12...so 12/21/12 seems to be a little bit tied to 666.
Sorry for making the assumption that you have some background knowledge of things like how the monument is relevent if in fact you do not. I have the feeling that this goes a lot deeper, but I am bored with it.

I know that threads like this get ripped and they deserve to since there is a lot of confirmation bias and such going on. Then again maybe there is something more.

So what about the 111ft that goes underground?

Do they ignore that in numerology?

Somehow I don't think they could have been bothered thinking about all that when they just wanted to build the Washington monument.

Wouldn't that make the overall height 666? That is interesting. Do you know if that 111 feet is an acurate measurement? Interesting.

Thanks. I haven't laughed that hard in quite some time. Divide and rule.

In Mike Leigh's 2008 film Happy-Go-Lucky, the driver instructor character Scott further reveals his inner turmoil by describing the Washington Monument as being "555 feet above the ground, and 111 feet below the ground", which according to him significantly add up to 666. This is the statement of a fictional character in a film, and not a matter of fact.[46]

I stand corrected, the 111ft is a lie.

In Mike Leigh's 2008 film Happy-Go-Lucky, the driver instructor character Scott further reveals his inner turmoil by describing the Washington Monument as being "555 feet above the ground, and 111 feet below the ground", which according to him significantly add up to 666. This is the statement of a fictional character in a film, and not a matter of fact.

Exterior structure
Total height of monument:[n 1] 555 ft 5 1⁄8 in (169.294 m)
Height from lobby to observation level: 500 feet (152 m)
Width at base of monument: 55 ft 1 1⁄2 in (16.802 m)
Width at top of shaft: 34 ft 5 in (10.49 m)
Thickness of monument walls at base: 15 feet (4.6 m)
Thickness of monument walls at observation level: 18 inches (460 mm)
Total weight of monument: 90,854 short tons (82,421 t)
Total number of blocks in monument: 36,491
Sway of monument in 30-mile-per-hour (48 km/h) wind: 0.125 inches (3.2 mm)

However why leave out the fact its 555ft and 5 1/8 inches?

Do you just get to round measurements in numerology?

As for the other measurements are they of no value?

Thanks for reply. I haven't seen the film either. I would think that as accurate as the masons are there would be no rounding off

Just one of those stories that is spread across the net and people start believing it.

Its like 666. People think this is the number of the beast. Its actually 616.

Anyway, every lie is a half truth.

has anyone done the calculator thing when you add up the patterns say, 987+123, 369+741, 159+951, all of them come to 1110? there are loads of this pattern you can mess around like 959+151, 757+353... even the wierdest patterns like 698+412 its well wierd

Actually it stands 555 feet 51⁄8 inches so you need to compute with 6665 inches.

Some of the oldest structures remaining on the planet have very precise alignments and measurements. Regardless of how true the stuff in the bible and other similar texts is, people believe it and they will base their lives around it. This includes buildings, especially when they are significant.
