The Earth has human rights?

No, apparently, the only right the Earth has is to be abused by idiots who forget that we have to
live here.

Tell me how a corporation is a person, Neo?

On the first page if you had read the whole thread(which should be done before one posts) I made a comment about being a penniless class warrior. as a statement of rebellion against this inequity.
¨i didnt start that stupidty but i will not let someone speak about physical violence¨
it is the internet and you cant DO anything but stay on topic.
I do note that this is somewhat a thorny subject for a die hard conservative who fully backs the no tax on the rich scheme to have your boiz play this card while ya´ll are still trying to cover yer arse over Soc Sec. We are gonna see just how fooled folks are if they let this one slide. LMAO over the whole thing. the repugs say kill Soc sec but still want to fund it. The dems say keep it and want it to run on empty. Anyone shilling either side is pretty gullible.

ETA note the use of more than one sentence in my reply?

There is no conceivable way for someone to be rich and not deserve it in this paradigm

True! And when they have never worked an honest day in their lives, live off stock dividends, and money from inheritances, they will tell you they work. They "manage" their deceased father's estates.
(Yeah, they manage it from their yacht, by making a phone call a month. lol. )

People don't realize that the republican party does not represent their interests, and continue to fall for the decades old political strategies of getting votes on the morality issues. And pumping on the "why should you give away your hard-earned money to the non-deserving poor?

"Now, which party is it that opposes abortion? yeah, I want to vote for them so I won't go to hell".

All the while they are destroying them as fast as they can.

People fall for it. Pathetic.

The libs mock the whole corporate as person bit, but take away their "union as person" priveleges and you'd have marches, protests, and hissy-fits galore!

There are far more corporations than unions and they hold many, many times the assets of all the unions together. And if they are incorporated they are just as much people as a corp (which is BS except as a legal fabrication) Do you want to live in a world in which an artificial life has more rights and privelige than you?

Look hard and find nothing my friend. anything you buy is taxed so you can drop the ¨they don pay tax¨ crap as it is BS and 3trillion for the middle and poor? not bad when we just did this for the rich

Um... this is Social Security payroll tax, which is not the same as income tax.

The Payroll Tax Cut reduces the employee contribution from 6.2% to 4.2%...that money saved is "Income".

Income that can be spent to create actual Consumer Spending...ya know, what the "Job Creators" claim they are waiting for before spending any of the Trillions the taxpayers gave them in bail-outs and tax breaks.

Horse and Sparrow...that is what they called trickle-down economics in the 1800's.
If you feed the horse enough oats, the sparrows can pick some grains from the horse droppings.

The idea of giving the wealthiest more money in hopes of it trickling down has always been known to be a sham and has been shown to be nothing more than a scam for over a century now. It sure makes the rich richer though!

Further, how do those who support the further extending of this payroll tax cut propose that Social Security stays afloat if the amount going into the coffers continues being roughly 17% lower than it was back when Social Security was already bleeding its funding dry?

16%...2 div by 12.4

Social Security is solid. It is the borrowing the Fed Government has done from SS and their ability to pay it back that is in question.

Further, if we have 46% of wage earners not paying any payroll tax right now under this Obama initiative... I guess that means myself and the other 54% of wage earners are supposed to just keep paying for them?

In case you have not noticed, that is not the way it works. If it worked that way, there would be no deficit. The US Gov. would simply divide up it's annual expenses amongst the eligable tax payers and abra-cadabra...no debt.

BTW - That 46% still pays taxes in every other form from groceries to property tax. They just are not earning enough to qualify for income tax...which is an issue everyone should be concerned with, even the wealthy, because a consumer driven economy without comsumers...does..not..work. It is all painfully obvious once idealogical blinders are removed. Just ask any economist...or even the GOPs former lover the Chamber of Commerce, or Standard and Poors...or anyone that understands economics. The GOPs current state of Idealogical Extremism is sinking the greatest nation on earth.

we are talking about federal income tax and keep trying to raise the income taxation

someone here needs to drop that crap,

the federal income tax generates over 2.2 trillion dollars and they come begging for more.

NO, not really

I would prefer both to remain in the category of what they actually are.

I would like someone to tax a billionaires to see you guys have a real protest for once, not
this MSM, FOX news, sponsored by Extenze and Budweiser "protests" you guys do now.

But that is where you are flawed. Neo is right, they don’t pay income tax. Who gives a rats a$$ about the tax you pay on a candy bar or a sandwich at McDonalds? THEY DONT PAY INCOME TAX. What part of that are you ignoring or not comprehending? Its not that hard of a concept. Please comment on how you feel about 48% of America not paying into income tax, then the discussion can go on. Otherwise you are ignoring facts, and responding with off topic comments with no factual basis.

As a shareholder, the corporation represents me.

The unions represent politicians, bloated thugs, and hapless teachers, tradesmen that are trapped by their draconian rule.

A Union is defined by it's membership. A corporation is a legal contruct...it can be a single anonymous individual, but assigned a voice dependant on it's finances. The concept of a corporation having personhood is simply democracy for sale.

I keep hearing about this from corporate shills

But, I don't know a single person who doesn't pay taxes, I honesty can't think of one.

I do know that people with corporate entities use the artifice to dodge all kinds of taxation and recoup
spending all the same.
