Consider yourselves warned!

There is a point where blind adoration of a person can become an obsession.

I know many believe that Ron Paul is going to save the world, he has all of the answers, he is "the man" Just remember, many of you, MILLIONS of you felt the same way about Obama.

Good luck.

Il add this before trolls come trolling

" Why make another thread about it then "

Im sure they will be here soon lol

I agree with you, the boards are full of threads about him. They should just amalgamate them and save precious bandwidth

I understand the enthusiasm, when it comes to the media, the internet is it for the younger generation so if the threads are bothering go watch TV and you'll get the same except from all of the other candidates.

Not all Ron Paul threads are slavishly pro Ron Paul. Like it or not he is a Phenom here and people want to discuss various aspects of his policies and campaign. I don't have a problem with it. I figure if i don't want to deal with it, I don't have to dive into those threads.

Take a step back, though, and consider. Ron Paul is nowhere near as popular in the real world as he is here. People who claim he is "exploding" or "ahead in all the polls' are basically delusional, but what does that show? For one thing it shows the population of ATS is biased. I don't use the word "bias" in a negative way, It simply is explanatory. The population of users here tends to be more favorable to Ron Paul than the general population. Where people here claim instant knowledge and perception of bias in the MSM or TPTB, they are strangely not perceptive of their own delusions and fail to acknowledge their own biases, which are apparent to anyone else not of their mindset. Perhaps you need to be away from it to recognize it.

The rest of the world tends to view Ron Paul's supporters as "cultish," and I must say, my own dealings with them corroborate that feeling. It's kind of like talking to a committed fundamentalist Christian who sees the Word of God in every seashell and is completely convinced anyone who does not accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior is going to Hell. It's the same kind of mesmerizing lilt to their tone. I almost expect Ron Paul supporters to fall down and begin speaking in tongues at any moment.

In any case, ATS is not a place where you will get an objective discussion of his candidacy or point of view.

Eh,Ron Paul's like all the rest these days..You really want to see "Change"? Take out the Elites. Nothing will change until the super rich moldy old families have their puppets and toys taken away from them.

Now where'd I put that anti-nausea medication...

Ron paul does not believe in evolution
www.youtube.com...
How can anyone take him seriously after saying that? Its even worse coming from an
educated man... 'he is a medical doctor'. I would guess he does believe in evolution and
just says he does not to appease the christian fundamentalist voters, if thats the case
he is no different than the rest of the republicans or democrats running for office.
They secure votes with lies and promise change, then once they get the power they change
nothing, I see nothing in this man that offers anything other than more of the same old same..

You might want to get used to it. You've got a year and a half to hear about Ron Paul. Soak it all in.

People will look outwards towards the world at large, following every man, woman, and child before they pause to look within for the salvation that was always waiting to be discovered.

let them have their messiah

Just ignore the threads if it is a problem.

Even if Ron Paul is elected...he still has the congress, legislature and senate to contend with.....he won't have all the power.....and there are many, many politicians that will be against him.

Better get yourself a barf bag because Ron Paul threads will continue to be made. As far as I can tell, he is the only serious candidate running for Pres, which may explain why you never see threads supporting the others. Ron Paul has a huge internet following, & trust me, this isnt the only forum that loves (& hates) the Paul. Ron Paul is usually ahead in online polls & barely came in 2nd place in Iowa, which could also mean tied for 1st. He's also loved by the young crowd, 18-35ish, which also explains his internet popularity. Politicians usually don't compaign towards the youngsters due to their crappy voting record
. I'm guessing wherever he goes to speak & meet the people it's usally a full house. But is easy to not read a thread, so there is no need to barf.

Ron Paul 2012 or bust!

This sounds like a typical pre-programmed response being used in certain media.
