So there are stories of people who claim to be followed.

There's also a lot of ghost, ufo and religious stories. Does having many stories with a common theme make these stories worthy of instant dismal, or does it reinforce the idea that there may be something happening?

Some people are paranoid, others are not. I'm simply telling my story the way it happened. Perhaps I also fall into the paranoid category, regardless having someone go out of their way to make you feel like a liar doesn't encourage others to share their experiences.

Welcome to reality, I thought ATS members were more open minded like this OPer here. There is still hope to open your perception to see the full spectrum of life.

Key words will red flag any danger to their system or employees. Or if your into inventing or things that would cut into their employers paycheck (big monopoly corporations) they care because its competition of gaining the majority of the publics money through materials, services and goods.

Wow I did not actually think they actually listen on conversations. It seems now that the only way to have a truly private conversation is talking face to face. Also, I need to ask. Do all countries do this?

To remove any doubt just do as the OPer did and see what happens The data bases may not be in some smaller isolated areas, but likely all major populated areas have the systems and technology to monitor any possible threat. I recommend any radical or out of the box thinking to be done face to face if you feel what your discussing could be treated as a threat even if just ideas or speculation. So proof would only be gained by having inside access to the monitoring processes, which I do not, or finding out the hard way by using normal communication methods.

I have already tried it.

It is no joke. I used google to look up some information about the BP oil Spill and I was looking in foreign news to see if there was any big news being suppressed by the spill. Well I ended up on a Islamic Jihad news site and a few other information places..........After this I was googling some militias, u2u me if you want to know which one......Two days later I went to Holiday world and had a visit by two black suv's with MIB in them. They flew up behind me doing 90 or so. They slowed down and tailed me for miles........I was watching them in the rearview mirror and I slowed down to about 60 mph. Guess what? They slowed down too. They did not pass me. Now I know that when I am speeding and I approach a slower vehicle I pass them. They did not.

Then out of the blue the guy in the lead picks up a cell phone nods his head and both vehicles in perfect sequence veered off the road onto the shoulder. There were no exit ramps, no place to turn around or anything. Now I know that when I miss a turn I take the next exit. The guys just sat on the shoulder until I was out of sight..........They were obvious just to let me know, that they are watching......There is no anonymity.....People do not get it....... It is all a front.....They found that Facebook killer guy........They know whats up with you.

Don't believe me then u2u me and I will tell you what to google. Then if you are vigilant enough you will notice a tail on you.

I believe you op. The keywords give it away. On any communication device known to man. That is what the super computers are there for.....Anybody who says different has their head in the sand and you can try it.....I know I am on a few lists..............

Thanks for sharing this OP. Your story of what happened does not seem at all far-fetched in today's world to me at all. I dont know about Australia, but here in the US we have over 70 Fusion Centers across the nation to monitor such things as phone calls, texts, and your emails.

Big Brother is everywhere, listening to everything. For those who think that this is not true, you guys really need to wake up and come out of your basement and take a look at the real world.

It used to never be like it is now when I was growing up, but times have changed. I'm 50 now and my friends and I will NEVER talk about the government and our views of them on the telephone, or in emails. When we do talk, it is always outside in the open countryside and in low voices.

If everything that the government was doing and how they were spying on the citizens ever got out, people might finally wake up. Don't underestimate the power or the secretiveness of Big Brother.

Ive seen this story a hundred times....always slightly different but always very similar. Im saying, he read a story elsewhere, and decided he would make one for himself.

The guy says he phoned his mate and said all this nonsense......then he started getting followed. Seriously...do you believe this????

Why would they waste all these resources? He phoned his 16 year old mate and left a message on his phone saying he wanted to kill the Prime Minister........why would they trace this? Why would they get him under surveillance?

Makes no sense to me...thats why im calling BS

Do I believe his story? To be quite honest, I don't really care if the OP made it up or not....

Actually I do not wish to try. I believe that the OPer was not lying. But I would think that ATS is safe isn't it? I mean so many people come to talk about all kinds of this they probably do not wish to look at this site all the time already.

All phones are bugged. all emails are copied. If you want to really plot against someone do it outdoors in the middle of nowhere or like the bilderburgers in a room swept for bugging devices.
Old school friendly letters with the real message in invisible ink might be old enough that the gov wouldn't even consider it anymore, as with carrier pidgeons carrying a flashdrive with a message.

If I were being followed by the standard big black gov car I 'would' brake for a small animal in my neighborhood and when rear ended I would put them on the spot with my cellphone camera (ipod knockoff set to record as a backup) as to who they were, why they are in my block when they don't live there etc, etc and it would be on youtube that night.

Start watching the watchers, they hate that and will scurry off like the cockroaches they are.

Try sweeping a room reliably these days without a half million dollars worth of gear and you'll likely never find anything. Even the stuff I come up with in my little lab would surprise you, never mind black budget funded technology.

Also, when you're out chatting in the middle of nowhere, don't be standing next to your vehicle, and don't have your phone with you.

If you couldn't see thru the tint, how can you describe who was behind the tint?

I would suggest that we all take as many measures as possible to confuse and disrupt their spying activities. I'm sure there are many suggestions on how to do that on ATS Survival posts.

First I would find a list of "flagged" words and never use them in any communications. Then I would start using the same double-talk gibberish that they use on the public. Using words that have opposite meanings, mix in ones with different connotations, use metaphors and common words with encrypted meanings, etc. Also, I would use obscure place-names or develop a system for coordinates when traveling. Baffle them with bull crap.

Someone I no longer associate with, and haven't for many years got the bright idea to send one of our former presidents a threatening letter. He was picked up some weeks later, and spent several months in the psych ward of a state hospital. They did finally let him go, but he was never the same again. And he has never even talked about politics or presidents since. In fact, he doesn't talk much at all. Beware. It's not a laughing matter.

I had a similar story, but deemed it completely coincidence.
I do some acting on the side, and was getting ready for a gig where I would get to play an assassin (I know.. it was awesome!). Well, I was also planning on flying to Las Vegas the next morning. So, I'm talking to my friend about my movie, and also the vegas trip and hang up. An hour later or so, around 11pm, I was looking out my window, and noticed 3 police vehicles, and 3 unmarked cars come down my street. I was at the end of the circle, and just watched them all come out of their cars, and start searching all of the properties on the street, including mine. Eventually, they all left. Well, the next morning, I get on my flight and ended up sitting next to a guy in full Army gear. As we made our way in to Vegas, he says "I sure hope we land before the President decides to leave. They will have to shut down the entire Airport while we circle in the sky and wait for AF1 to depart". Sure enough, the president was leaving at the exact time we were supposed to land. We had to circle vegas for about 45 min before we were allowed on the ground. All in all, I thought it was a pretty big coincidence But, not much more than that.

I just remembered another incident from a friend who is in the Army. He told me that a guy in his unit spread a rumor that my friend was planning to assassinate the president. The guy was just a douche. But, my friend ended up having to take a leave of absence while they checked all of his contacts and everything. He even told me straight up that Big Brother would look into everyone he contacted in the last few months and the following months. I got mad at him, because he sent me a text telling me all this. No doubt I was put under the scope for a bit.

OMG OMG OMG......i went out earlier and a car followed me for 40 miles down the motorway...do you think they are following me too now???

It too was a black SUV...a Range Rover i think...it had 2 people in it, both wearing sunglasses...do you think they are after me because i mocked you??

Now i think of it....i saw a white van parked outside mine earlier too, with a guy sat in it...not doing anything. They are after me...im sure i can hear helicopters too.

All these coincidences....it like when i was at the supermarket the other day and there were people sitting in their cars watching me as i walked in the store...

sounds like ECHELON intercepted your message and it probably got placed on some agents desk fairly quickly.

I guess if you (or anyone) called and left my wife or kids a message that said you intended to kill them, I'd have to track you down as well. You just can't let that kind of thing slip... you can't assume that it wasn't serious. You don't have the right to allow someone the chance to do harm to someone else.

if you want to know if you are being tracked just do a simple experiment such as drive around for a few weeks and see what sort of traffic you get around you then ring a friend in on the scheme and say you are going to kill/nuke/tickle to death someone of importance and then see if the traffic around you changed and if so have fun ringing everyone you know mentioning the keywords till they realise you are a sarcastic person who knows and wants to extract the maximum urine from the situation

well, I wasnt wanting to jump in this pointless debate but I have too now....

Bottom Line: None of these are THE same story the OP told. Comparing these would be like two of us saying were dying and then having different illness's. People get followed....FACT. People die....FACT. Everyone's experience is different. But these examples are not a representation of OP's thread.

NOW ON TOPIC, while we all have a right to disagree or call out someone's B.S.-
I myself, thought ATS was THE EXACT PLACE someone could share like this and not be TOTALLY harassed.
