Jupiter does not have enough mass to ignite fusion and become a star like our Sun. Without that mass, Jupiter is also too cold for fusion. If Jupiter were to become 80 times more massive it would be able to generate enough heat for fusion through gravitational compression. Given that there isn’t that much mass in our Solar System, outside of the Sun, it is impossible for Jupiter to become a star.

Actually a brown dwarf in theory could "ignite" jupiter and help it sustain that fusion... dont know if it would turn into a "star" tho...

Not really, as Niburu/Planet X is fictional.

That's the thing that's weird! If it were any other planetary alignment, this countdown on illuminati.org could just be shrugged off as a hoax. But since the planet is not even supposed to exist, the fact that whoever created the orbit for Celestia has managed to accidentally create a solar eclipse/alignment at that exact time, is in my eyes really weird. illuminati.org
Now if you've got nothing to add, either re read my OP or find something better to do than trolling.edit on 21/8/2011 by HexagonSun because: (no reason given)
