CAIRO (AP) — Egypt said Saturday it would recall its ambassador from Israel to protest the deaths of at least three Egyptian troops killed in a shootout between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian militants who had launched a deadly attack on Israel from Egyptian soil.
The decision sharply escalated tensions between the neighboring countries, whose 1979 peace treaty is being tested by the fall of Egypt's longtime autocratic leader, Hosni Mubarak.

Everybody is claiming "false flag", Israel did it. How does Israel benefit from this? I think the attack was exactly what it seemed to be. Terrorists attacking Israel from the Egyptian side of the border. Egypt turned a blind eye, and now blames Israel for "lax security". The Sinai is now virtually lawless making infiltration child's play. Egypt is looking for a valid pretext to cancel the peace treaty. I say that if they do, Israel should regain control of the Sinai.

Why should the Sinai be given to Israel it belongs to Egypt. Why do people think Israel should be given everything they want? What next if they say god gave us the USA would you support that too? And how does this false flag benefit Israel? They are doing everything they can to prevent The UN from recognizing the Palestinian state and by getting the war started again it gives them every excuse to steal more land all the while crying they want to kill us.

i dont know where you learn your history but It was a pre-emptive attack. It is widely agreed in the western world unless its Muslim or arab lovers like yourself who would even blame nature’s natural disasters on Israel.
Regardless, Israel wiped the floor with Egypt and another five Arab states because they are light years smarter and more powerful then the Muslim neighboring countries.

But International Laws are now in place to stop countries taking land by force..

What??? I am one of the staunchest supporters of of Israel on this board and even I think that suggestion is beyond the orbit of Pluto it's so far out. The Sinai is Egyptian territory, given back in a peace treaty between the two countries. Egypt and Israel need to do some very quick smoothing over diplomacy. The U.S. should be sending the Secretary of State over there to make sure relations get mended up pronto before events, rather than people start controlling what happens next.

Ask yourselves this if you are a westerner and a christian.
Would you rather have infidel hating muslim extremists ruling the Middle East, or Goy hating Judean Extremists ruling the middle east?

Well attacking Gaza is a "War Crime" when you consider Israel has NO PROOF that any Palestinians were involved in the recent attack near Egypt..
