That is so off topic it comes across as desperate. I knew it would be the first page I would see you or Neo96 come in here and just post something negative about Obama. There are threads on what you want to discuss. Feel free to go find them. The worst part is you were so lazy about it. You could not even pretend to know what the topic was. You could not be bothered to have a thought. All you did was post an off topic video as a distraction.
Feel good about that?

So you were expecting this yet you went ahead and started the thread anyway?
Don't you think that's a little hypocritical of you starting a thread about a woman who isn't even President?

So is that your way of saying Obama hanging out Ayers the terrorist is/was a positive thing?

Not to mention the level of political corruption in the region has to be paramount. Places like that are a breeding ground for it. Places where 9 yr old kids run around with assault rifles.

It's only an issue now because a conservative has a terrorist association.

Before, it was "edgy" to have a radical as an associate.

Now? Watch the progs wrap themselves in the flag and shout about security.
The only thing bigger than the progressive hypocracy is their capacity to obfuscate and rewrite history as they see fit.

Between her numerous gaffs, poor hiring practices, she (Bachmann) has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

She'll really need to sell her message if she's going to have a chance.

I knew that was going to get posted....but it is fair.

He is however President now, and the number 1 terrorist (Bin Laden) was killed under his command.....and as far as i know this country has been pretty safe from terrorists in most regards.

Thanks, I think it's fair as well.

Sure he killed Bin Laden (insert asterisk here), and got a short lived bump in the polls as a result,
... but how do you think a person that has been unemployed for months/years will react when you remind them of that "accomplishment"?

...so, you're saying that since obama got away with it, bachmann should too?...

No, of course not.
Just pointing out the convenient yet blatant hypocrisy here.
This Bachman deal is a non issue because she won't make it past the primaries, yet reports of Obama's terrorist connections were everywhere, but his adoring fans conveniently chose to ignore it, thanks to the media.

What's wrong with this picture?

True...i get your point.
But the same could be said for Republicans who are for (and have) laying off government workers...increasing the unemployment rate...which they then point to and say, "Look, numbers are going up!"

Policeman, fireman, teachers, etc....are getting laid off....private sector (namely corporations) aren't hiring even though they have been enjoying record profits. They say they won't hire because of "uncertainty."

Well that's BULL#!!!!! The only thing that is certain is that the economy will never recover unless they start hiring Americans again!

(sorry i went off topic there...will not comment further)

I don't understand.
You can't have it both ways, you credit Obama for the killing of OBL* yet a few posts later you blame the Repubs for unemployment?

I thought the buck stops at the White House and the President gets both credit/blame for everything that happens under his watch.

If we are going to hold Bachmann to the same standards as Obama, then she should either be elected to president, or Obama should be impeached.

But then again, that'd be fair now, wouldn't it.

Sorry, for whatever reason you brought up unemployment in your post...that was my response. Both parties are too blame for unemployment...i agree....but probably not for the same reasons you do.

But the main point I was making, Republicans are contributing to the unemployment numbers going up...but then point to them and say, "See! Crap is getting worse!"

Seriously, not commenting further, we are way off topic now...don't want to derail thread.

Right on time as usual

First of all, if conservatives want to yap on about making friends out of terrorists, they'd do themselves a service in being consistent with those beliefs. Bachmann chose to closely associate herself with a man who clearly committed terrorist attacks, and what do you do? You keep shut about it then you yap on about Obama doing it. You don't care about the blatant hypocrisy of your stances do you? You're just going to ignore this?

Second of all, Obama is not close friends with Ayers, nothing beyond his encounters with Ayers on the board or at events. But we'll attack him the minute he comes across somebody, huh? It's one hell of a far cry from actually hiring Ayers to join his presidential campaign.

If you are so strong upon the fact that any association with a terrorist proves unamericanism of somebody, Bachmann should be no different.

talk about a non issue nothing says bachmann will ever be potus.

That is true. Nothing says Bachmann can't ever be president. Nothing says Palin can't ever be president. Nothing says Karl Rove can't ever be president. Nothing is really impossible, I guess.

The only reason why anyone should be worried about Bachmann, is if it turns out that America does, in fact, have an even larger population of drooling, schizophrenic, fundamentalist Christian rednecks than was already known.

I like how people are pointing out Bill Ayers as if it justifies the fact that Michelle Bachmann staffs a nutjob.

Because since someone else is a corrupt ideologue, clearly the choice to contend with that person is another corrupt ideologue. Because the bull# lies they spew out fit my world view better.

What, pray tell, does Bill Ayers have to do with this?
If someone reports a murder, do you guy all run in and say someone else murdered someone else once to so don't even worry about it?
How does Bill Ayers tie into Michelle Bachmann?
