JESUS AND THE MONEYCHANGERS

Why the Son of God resorted to violence, once, how he was murdered for it, and why it matters today.

Do not think that I came to bring peace on Earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.”
Matthew10:34-39

Part 1: Cleansing the Temple

Quick Reference Guide:

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all of them who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Matthew 21:12-13

Summary : The common name given to the act of Jesus expelling the banking cartel ( the Moneychangers ) from the temple and his execution on the cross soon after. What will follow is the revelation that it was the Jewish banking cartel, manipulating the Roman legal system, that sought and accomplished the execution of Jesus when he had been revered as a king of men only days before.

Part 2: The Illusion of Choice : Jesus, Bar Abbas (Godson), or Jesus of Nazareth, Son of God.

THE SCRIPTURES

15 Now it was the governor’s custom at the festival to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd. 16 At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Jesus Barabbas. 17 So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” 18 For he knew it was out of envy that they had handed Jesus over to him.

19 While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.”

20 But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.

21 “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor.
“Barabbas,” they answered.

22 “What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked.
They all answered, “Crucify him!”

23 “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate.
But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”

24 When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”

25 All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”

26 Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

Matthew 27:15-26

In this version of events, you can see that Pilate chose to judge Jesus on the day of the Festival very well knowing that it was tradition ( Either his own or the city's, depending on the version ) to put the fate of two men up to vote. Are we to believe that this is not a set up by the Moneychangers in which Pilate is not at least complicit? Perhaps the following is compelling evidentiary proof of such a conspiracy to commit the murder of a man who stood up to the banking cartel.

We must address the translation of the name Barabbas. It appears as bar-Abbas in the Greek texts. It is derived ultimately from the Aramaic Bar-abba, "son of the father". According to early Greek texts, Barabbas' full name was Jesus Barabbas. Later texts shorten his name to just Barabbas.

Both translated and untranslated in the Gospels ( Matthew 27:15-26, Mark 15:6-15, Luke 23:13-25 ), Abba means "father" in Aramaic. Jesus directly refers to God as "father" in the form of Abba, which still survives even in most English translations. ( Mark 14:36 )

Some speculate that "bar-Abba" could actually be a reference to Jesus himself as "son of the father". I personally believe the Bible is making it very clear to us, and thus God is sending the message, that the Moneychangers and Pilate were involved in a murderous plot against Jesus of Nazareth for interefering with the banking cartel.

6 Now it was the custom at the festival to release a prisoner whom the people requested. 7 A man called Barabbas was in prison with the insurrectionists who had committed murder in the uprising. 8 The crowd came up and asked Pilate to do for them what he usually did.

9 “Do you want me to release to you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate, 10 knowing it was out of envy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to him. 11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have Pilate release Barabbas instead.

12 “What shall I do, then, with the one you call the king of the Jews?” Pilate asked them.

13 “Crucify him!” they shouted.

14 “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate.

But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”

15 Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

Mark 15:6-15

In the second version of events, Pilate turns directy to the chief priests knowing full well that they were angry at Jesus for showing the people that they were taking kickbacks from the Moneychangers and those same priests were envious of Jesus because he had showed them to be lesser men in front of God. They were too weak at heart to not accept the bribes from the banking cartel, and instead of admitting it in a pious fashion, they cried for the murder of the man who exposed them. When asked what crime he committed, they don't even bother answering, just shout for his death stirring up the crowd.

13 Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers and the people, 14 and said to them, “You brought me this man as one who was inciting the people to rebellion. I have examined him in your presence and have found no basis for your charges against him. 15 Neither has Herod, for he sent him back to us; as you can see, he has done nothing to deserve death. Therefore, I will punish him and then release him.”

18 With one voice they cried out, “Away with this man! Release Barabbas to us!” 19

20 Wanting to release Jesus, Pilate appealed to them again. 21 But they kept shouting, “Crucify him! Crucify him!”

22 For the third time he spoke to them: “Why? What crime has this man committed? I have found in him no grounds for the death penalty. Therefore I will have him punished and then release him.”

23 But with loud shouts they insistently demanded that he be crucified, and their shouts prevailed. 24 So Pilate decided to grant their demand. 25 He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, the one they asked for, and surrendered Jesus to their will.

Luke 23:13-25

The wording here is extremely subtle, and it can be hard to decipher. I will do my best to explain, but it will be hard for readers to understand if they lack a level of reading comprehension needed to understand these anomalies. I will break it into steps in hopes that it will simplify this passage enough to aid the reader in understanding the wordplay at work.

☼ Pilate calls everyone together, chief priests, rulers and people.

☼ He proclaims that the people have brought him Jesus bar-Abbas because he is the criminal responsible for an uprising in Rome.

☼ Jesus was treated and hailed as a King of Jews in Rome, and he also strongly believed that by capturing Jerusalem from the Romans, God would send a miracle to free his chosen people.

☼ Roman law declares that anyone who claims to be a King is a seditionist. Barabbas was also labeled a seditionist, and both are revolutionary leaders. The only logical solution is that they were the same person.

☼ Barabbas was a nickname given to Jesus by his followers because of his proclivity to introduce himself as bar-Abbas or "son of the Father."

☼ The Roman investigation turned up the name, Barabbas, as the leader of the Rebellion. "Jesus, bar-Abbas", or Jesus, son of the Father, who was simply called Barabbas among the revolutionary circles. Those circles were the followers of Jesus of Nazareth.

☼ Pilate was not a good man, as many believe. The Romans eventually had to remove him from power due to callousness, greed and cruelty in such excess that it brought shame to Rome itself. Why then is he portrayed as a good man who is fultily tried to stack the deck in Jesus Christ's favor?

☼ The Romans would never have released a seditionist. Though there may have been a sympathetic release of past small-time revolutionaries by officials, to say that Herrod himself would be lenient on a condemned prisoner comitting seditious acts, backed by followers that would today be described as independent terrorist cells is laughable at best.

☼ The Romans and the Moneychangers share a common interest in light of this evidence. The Romans are after Barabbas, Revolutionary Leader, because he is leading a revolution, and the Moneychangers are after Jesus of Nazareth, King of Jews, because he has challenged their usury and greed. The chief priests are after Jesus "bar-Abbas" "son of the Father" because he has cost them kickbacks, bribes, and exposed their false piety.

☼ This is where Pilate does the dirty work called for by the trinity of evil. He decieves the people, with the help of some well placed help in the crowd and clever wordplay.

☼ He brings up Jesus of Nazareth and asks the crowd who he shall release. Pilate asks the crowd, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” ( Matthew 27:17)

☼ His wife, knowing full-well Pilate's intentions, sent a letter to Pilate stating, "Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.”

☼ Thus we expose Pilate's plan. The crowd screams for their savior, "Barabbas", son of the Father. They scream for Jesus Christ, and in choosing condemn Barabbas, the enemy of Rome, to death by crucifixion.

☼ The only thing that Pilate asked in order to act on the will of the people was that they disperse. They did, and Pilate completed the plan by killing Jesus Christ.

☼ Jesus Christ, being both persons, is thus judge in a twisted form of double jeapordy that works out to his death either way. The Moneychangers had executed their plan perfectly, and the rest of the terrorists were rounded up and crucified next to Jesus soon after.

Pilate and Jesus, the History

☼ Jesus had asked the tax collector Levi, at work in his tax booth in Capernaum, to quit his post.

☼ Jesus also appears to have influenced Zacchaeus, "a chief tax collector" in Jericho, which is in Pilate's tax jurisdiction, to resign.

☼ Pilate's main question to Jesus was whether he considered himself to be the King of the Jews, and thus a political threat.

☼ Mark in the NIV translation states: "Are you the king of the Jews?" asked Pilate. "It is as you say," Jesus replied. However, quite a number of other translations render Jesus' reply as variations of the phrase: "Thou sayest it."(King James Version, Mark 15:2); "So you say." (Good News Bible, Mark 15:2). Whatever degree of confirmation modern interpreters would derive from this answer of Jesus, according to the New Testament, it was not enough for Pilate to view Jesus as a real political threat.

☼ Following the Roman custom, Pilate ordered a sign posted above Jesus on the cross stating "Jesus of Nazareth, The King of the Jews" to give public notice of the legal charge against him for his crucifixion. The chief priests protested that the public charge on the sign should read that Jesus claimed to be King of the Jews. Pilate refused to change the posted charge, saying "What I have written, I have written." This may have been to emphasize Rome's supremacy in crucifying a Jewish king; it is likely, though, that Pilate was quite irritated by the fact that the Jewish leaders had used him as a marionette and thus compelled him to sentence Jesus to death contrary to his own will (according to Matthew 27:19, even Pilate's wife spoke to him on Jesus' behalf).

If Jesus was not a real political threat to Pilate or King Herrod, why was he crucified? If he was not a convincing King of the Jews to the Romans, what motivated the pursuit of his murder when even Herrod was initially excited to meet Jesus. The Bible even states shortly after Jesus is interrogated, "Pilate marvelled". Obviously there was only the anger of the Moneychangers and their political pull that ended the life of Jesus.

48 B.C.

Julius Caesar siezes the power to coin money and then minted for the benefit of all. The debt-based, slavery through inflation and taxation system was instantly destroyed and the Moneychangers responded swiftly. Though he had gained the love and adoration of his people for vast public works projects and construction, it would not last. Caesar was assassinated for challenging the status quo of the banking cartel.

Instantly after his murder, money went from plentiful to scarce, while taxation and corruption soared. The money supply was reduced to 90 percent, which resulted in a financial meltdown. There was a housing collapse and the common people lost their homes and lands. Poverty soared, and the people were once again enslaved by the Moneychangers.

30 A.D.

Jesus of Nazareth, 78 years later and the last year of his life uses physical force to remove the Moneychangers. This is the only time during the life of his ministry in which he used physical force against anyone.

The banking cartel was taking advantage of the Jews at this time in the same way it does today. The Jews are commanded by the Church to give an offering of a half-shekel each to maintain the Temple in Jerusalem. The idea was pure, as any pyramid scheme was. The half-shekel was a consistent yet small payment (read tax) to fund the building of the Temple.

The seemingly innocent tithe became the standard, and the people gladly paid to support such a wonderous cause. The trap had been set, and in the usual form and fashion of the banking cartel the market was cornered by the Moneychangers. Soon the cheap half-shekel became a booming market, it's worth heavily inflated (read economic bubble) by artificial scarcity.

The wealth was being siphoned off by the machine, and the machine became strong as it always does.

Only the son of God could expel these criminals and manipulators. Jesus quickly smited the cartel and attempted to restore the wealth and freedom of the people. The Moneychangers were wounded, but not defeated. What happened next was the unfolding of their plan to enact revenge and restore the machine to its former glory.

They called their minions, and gathered the corrupt politicians. They hunted their prey, the followers of Jesus, discreetly as any black ops would be conducted today. In the aftermath of their expulsion, the revolution was growing openly. The Moneychangers allowed this to happen to anger Rome, and force their hand. They were forced to choose between losing power, and satisfying the demands of their true masters. They chose their masters, as politicians always do, and Jesus was murdered.

This sealed the fate of humanity. We have been slaves in one form or fashion to the banking cartels since the first currency was birthed. Even the most devastating weapons are made from the basic components provided by God. Money is the only thing that the human race has created, and it is also controlled by pure evil.

Money truely is the root of all evil, and the Moneychangers play God through it.

Rat on a Sinking Ship

Economic World War One, You are the Enemy: Much like the housing bubble and collapse seen right after Caesar's assassination, the implosion has forced families from their homes. For sale signs pop up in communities like a cancer. The derivatives bubble has only just begun.

Until 1980, the total household debt had not reached $2 trillion. Today, total outstanding houshold debt exceeds $14 trillion. We are witnessing the beginnings of the Contemporary Weimar Republic.

This is Economic World War One.

Instead of people spending their money every hour, they have already spent it all. They are complacent and content debtor slaves, with the illusion of wealth because their bank accounts have a positive balance.

Colossal Money Expansion, the Calm Before the Storm: Federal Spending is almost 18 time higher than it was back in 1970. Barack Obama has proposed a budget that will increase U.S. Spending to 5.6 trillion in 2021. If that data were placed on a graph, it would be a near vertical line compared to the nations' history.

The truth of the matter is, when the government increases spending, it is merely wordplay for either increased taxes, or expansion of the money supply. Stright out of the same playbook, the Moneychangers control the issuance of credit and currency. The plays are well known.

They are the ability to openly print and gain first use of fiat currencies that carry a hidden tax of inflation, a fractional reserve banking system backed by itself, use artificial scarcity and bubbles to sieze wealth, and change laws and regulations to make their pyramid scheme legal. Much like the half-shekel being used to extract wealth in the name of the Temple of Jerusalem, modern fiat currencies are the medium of outright theft today.

Now that we are wholly dependent as an entire world on the well being of a fiat currency, the bankers are prepared to collapse it, crashing bubbles like gold. Once those markets are bought for pennies on the dollar and the entire worlds wealth siphoned off, the Moneychangers will rule supreme over Mother Earth and proclaim themselves God.

Trounced my Liberty, and gave me DEBT: The US national debt is set to top 15 trillion dollars. That is over 14 times larger than it was in 1980. The projected federal budget deficit for this year will be a record 1.6 trillion dollars. If history is doomed to be repeated, we will see a massive contraction of the money supply after the spending spree that has been Quantitative Easing 1, 2, 3 & Beyond.

Much like Caesarian times, there will be a total collapse of all markets and a siphoning of wealth.

The Obama Administration has recently come out and admitted that it views the Food Stamp Program as a form of stimulus, a new stimulus is set to be announced in September 2011, and the expanding wars in Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Libya as well as future wars with China, Syria, Egypt, India all work under the same Broken Window Fallacy, and are designed to filter wealth through the hands of the banking cartel.

Usury, Inflation, Debt, War - Dues ex Machina: The chains that strangle a nation are insidious. Privatized control of the issuance of currency and credit is the key to the Moneychangers current bid for world domination.

This plan involves taking the wealth a man earns through his labor and skimming it until there is only enough left for him to survive. Every time he uses the system it siphons his wealth until there is only a crushing debt over his head turning him into an eternal indentured servant of the banking cartel.

These aren't just your average ATM fees. It took 200 years to amass the first trillion dollars of government debt. It took 10 months to add the last. However, the frightening reality is that this parasite is only truly abhorrent in its final hour. We could print endless money and never default on our debts, but we would be required to digitize all currency to accomodate the incredible amount of money needed to buy basic necessities.

The most overt symptom of this disease is the constant obliteration of any wealth any but the megarich could attain through unimaginable inflation. In the Weimar Republic, wages were paid every hour and then people rushed to spend their money as quickly as possible, buying anything they could. Shopkeepers tried to keep their shops closed, but the government forced them to open. A loaf of bread which cost 29 pfennigs in 1913, cost 1200 marks by summer 1923 and 428,000,000,000 marks by November 1923.

In a world where industry standardization is the key to efficiency, politicians cry out for raising the taxes paid per household, invent new taxes, raising the debt ceiling, and expanding the money supply. If the government were as cost efficient as any other industry or workplace, we would be cutting costs instead of increasing them.

Perpetual Wars are the calling card of the banking cartel. A brief examination of the largest bankers in history will reveal a clear connection between the Moneychangers and both sides of every major war that did not involve conquering territory. All of these shackles chain a man to the slavery of debt.

Downgrade Credit, Upgraded Crisis: If we continue on the current spending spree, the cost of interest payments on our new debt alone would skyrocket from 25% of GDP to 68% of GDP.

Now that the US has had its AAA Credit Rating downgraded, with threats of future downgrades, these figures are probably tame at best. What we must remember is that this was always the plan.

The debt is created out of nothing and the usury charged is criminal. We are witnessing the sucking of a vile beast at our arteries. It will numb us with pretty words and a reassuring voice so that we can not react until we are spasming in death throes.

Bankocalypse, Total US Debt Staggering: Total consumer, government (both inter and outer), and business debt has grown well over $50 trillion, $20 trillion in the last ten years alone.

Always remember that Gold is the money of kings, Silver is the money of gentleman, Barter is the money of the poor, and DEBT is the money of SLAVES. With a GDP of only $15 trillion projected for FY 2011 ( Though let's be honest, those numbers are optimistic ), it is ultimately impossible to pay this debt off, ever.

The Smoking Gun: Since the Federal Reserve was created in 1913, the value of the U.S. dollar has declined by over 95 percent. The Federal Reserve was founded largely to combat inflation.

Looking back before the Federal Reserve siezed control of the money supply, anyone who was concerned about rapid inflation would appear insane. That pales in comparison to the magnitude of inflation that has occurred since the US left the Gold Standard in the 1970's. It is very clear to see that the Federal Reserve is the final arm in the banking cartels machine. It is the overseer and master to the majority of the machines.

Part Five: Prognosis

It is clear that the Bible is trying to teach us that the Moneychangers will never cease their desire to conquer mankind through its finances. What made America great was not that she had beaten the banking cartel, but that she had slowed the disease for a time. A canine is never cured of roundworm because some diseases are perpetual. When the weight of the financial chains that bind humanity become taut, they are thrust back but never broken. The machine slowly tightens again, and again, for eternity.

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all."

Mario Savio
Sproul Hall Steps, December 2, 1964

We want the machine to cease, Mr. Savio. The truth is, it will never stop.

"If God did not want them sheared, He would not have made them sheep."

I feel that quote "money changer" end quote is a bit too narrow a term for what drove him to scourge.

It's about tampering with official weights and measurements,
about skimming too much by having layers of officials,
It's about improper science.

Did you know that there is no single standard unit of energy in the eyes of the US Government.
The British have the BTU, British Thermal Unit, and sometimes we use that. But mostly
the energy and oil companies can shuffle things around so much that no one really
knows how much energy actually costs or how much we actually use.

And lastly, look at the history of sucessful countries.
Standard weights and measurments are very very important.
England almost collapsed due to poor quality of silver coinage.
They pulled out of the dive by making the Pound Sterling, really Sterling.

Israel, in Jesus Day, would charge you to buy temple Sheckles,
then charge Sheckles to buy clean animals for sacrafice
then take the sacrafice for absolution of sins.

Jesus said " You have made my Fathers house into a den of theives."

These days in America,
no one can define a barrel of oil;
sometimes it's sweet, sometimes it's full of sulphur.

No one can define a killowatt hour;
many electric companies add up total usage
and then divide their operating costs that month by the Killowatts measured.
So if the system itself is leaking megawatts into the ground, customers still pay for it.

And no one on the Hill can get a straight answer.
When Clinton suggested Washington use the BTU,
a British unit, pundits destroyed him by saying "I don't understand it."
Implying that because it was B for British, it was also Unamerican.

The world is gonna be shocked when God judges man harshly for not respecting science,
and thinkng politics comes first.

These ‘Moneychangers’ have always been with us throughout human history, just as you clearly stated, but what I find interesting is that whenever true historical uprisings occur we can almost always trace their causes to that of the moneychangers. They play with money, it is something that controls mankind, and nothing will ever replace money because replacing money means we replace them. They would never let that happen. Just look what they did to the son of God when he just called them out.

I believe that the entire Dark Ages of Europe was a period caused directly by the moneychangers. Not just that, I believe the Mongol invasion of Europe was funded by them, the Ottoman invasion of Europe was funded by them, perhaps even the bubonic plague had something to do with them, and the reason I make that argument is for the fact that in 1225 St. Thomas Aquinas was born. He had argued and written extensively about usury and how it was against the Christian faith.

With his writings the Catholic Church then created usury laws, finally outlawing usury in Catholic states throughout Europe. After that time the invasions of Europe began. But the Moneychangers had a home in Great Britain. In 1509 King Henry VIII relaxed usury laws and the money changers got back to work. It is also interesting that under King Henry VIII the Church of England separated from Roman Catholicism which made usury criminal.

1533 Queen Mary I, a staunch Roman Catholic, tightened usury laws again so the moneychangers tightened the money supply causing economic turmoil. 1558 Queen Elizabeth I took the power of issuing her own gold and silver coins, stealing power away from the moneychangers. By 1609 they finally took the Netherlands under their control by creating the first Central Bank. In 1642 Oliver Cromwell, financed by said moneychangers, launched a revolution in England giving power back to the money changers. They launched England into a series of wars to consolidate power and created a city of their own, one square mile, known as the City of London.

Since the money changers had problems with Kings, Charles II and James II they decided to conspire with their moneychanger counterparts in the Netherlands and launched a successful invasion of England by William of Orange who then becomes King. Come 1694 after years of costly war they went to the moneychangers for money, they agreed under the condition that England establishes a central bank.

It is also important to note that King Henry VIII commenced the dissolution of the monasteries in England after removing the Church of England from Roman Catholicism and relaxing usury laws to allow the moneychangers into power. Why is this important? Because the monasteries were handed over to barons for their political support of the King, the monasteries were important for keeping power decentralized by mediating between people and the state, localities, guilds, and agrarian communities. This distributed one quarter of English wealth at the expense of the peasants. The land which peasants had earned their living on was then handed over to the newly created Court of Augmentation.

The intention was to send wealth to the crown, concentrate land ownership for the nobility, and end the social/educational functions of monastic orders, all at the expense of the poor. Thus throughout the 16th century under control by the moneychangers England suffered the “enclosure movement” which ended commonly owned land and privatized it for the newly formed landed gentry. This create an entirely new elite and an entirely new economic idea which then only expanded across the globe; Capitalism.

Serendipidity, sbc,

S&F. Because I just saw on the news that here in NZ there is a man of Christ who is lending money on a no-interest basis, because he believes that those who tax are usurers.

It involves tithing for a few years, then the loan comes through interest-free. And it is working! This has apparently been going for at least 20 years and there were people saying they were thrilled to be able to pay off their mortgage within a few years instead of forever.

It means that people are free from the usurers (the banks).

I bring up Jesus and the Romans because of the magnitude of the event, but also because this time there is nowher left to go.

All the lands have been divided up by the elite, and the only way to gain even more control than is currently held is to expand global warfare, or exterminate a vast portion of the human race.

There hasn't been much warfare involving the loss or gain of lands, but now that the boundaries are clearly defined and until we begin to colonize other planets, there is basically nothing new to fight for. Even the last remaining islands are being bought up by the banking cartels so that they may wait out what is coming.

I have long believe that the temple/moneychangers was the catalyst for Jesus crusifixtion.
Everything bad in the world is instigated by money and those that want more of it.
It would not exist if we exchange talent or resources to live. Bits of paper or metal mean little - except to those mean little persons.

There's lots to think about in this thread, as the moneychangers are really exposed. So kudos to everyone posting above. I'm not convinced about the two being the same person, but it doesn't matter really, does it?

Are you a Christian for just some religious fool trying to find his way?

Nothing about jesus' life here on earth mattered. As long as remained on earth, we had nothing.

All of Jesus life was for the purpose of his death.

It's not the Jesus of Matthew we follow, because he is dead. We are following the risen Christ in all his power. Every Christian who understands this has everything Christ has.

He is the risen Son of God. If we are his brothers in the spirit, then our spirits are gods too. As God is spirit and he calls us sons, what are we...humans?? No. We are off the godkind inside our humankind until we die and then we are just godkind. If our spirit is redeeemd, and God is our Father then wat power do we really have?

And your chasing the meaning of the moneychnagers ????!!!

Which is why I've been preaching meditation and critical thinking of current situations instead of letting emotions get the better of you. Instead of people planning or thinking of rioting, how about just chilling? Relax and take in the situation for what it really is and realize that we've all been led to BELIEVE in a system/paradigm that is meaningless.

Everything is scripted and cyclical. Be ahead of the curve and just sit down, it NEEDS you to exist.

I thoroughly enjoyed this intelligent and clearly time consuming thread. It gave me a new perspective on how the events leading up to the crucifixion could have transpired. I appreciate the work that must have gone into such an in depth thread. Thank you.

So when the world around us is crumbling under the same earthly evil it has since the beginning of money, it is ignorant at best and outright appalling to actually try to understand the stories of the Bible, and you call yourself a Christian?

Maybe you're ok with waiting until you're dead for everything to be better, but I can do without 72 virgins or social justice in heaven. No thanks for a free ticket, I believe we are put here to better ourselves and I enjoy sharing knowledge. In all honesty, I don't care if you live inside your litle box of an ideal path to enligthenment or heaven or whatever glitter clouds your eyes. I'll take my ideas and wear them as a badge of honor and not hide them in shame from those that would prejudge a stranger or his story.

I guess they don't teach people love for another in church, but I never cared to go anyway. My desire to read the Bible wasn't compelled by some folky traditions or command from the pulpit. I'll enter a modest church that takes over an abandoned strip center, or business over some elaborate shrine with brightly colored glass and glamour.

If my words seem harsh, it's probably because they beg you to look at yourself and see that I am not the blind one attempting to lead the deaf. I heard something in this story, and wanted to share it.

Good Luck

Bankocalypse, Total US Debt Staggering: Total consumer, government (both inter and outer), and business debt has grown well over $50 trillion, $20 trillion in the last ten years alone.

Always remember that Gold is the money of kings, Silver is the money of gentleman, Barter is the money of the poor, and DEBT is the money of SLAVES. With a GDP of only $15 trillion projected for FY 2011 ( Though let's be honest, those numbers are optimistic ), it is ultimately impossible to pay this debt off, ever.

All I can say is brilliant thread!

Seriously you've got a start on tying history together in a way that is a thousand times more convincing than the BS they try to pass off in school.

The hand behind the scenes of bankers has created the most violent and destructive eras of human history. How many times more do we let them run us to the brink of destruction before we say enough is enough!?
