Don't blame the folks saying these are Chinese lanterns... They've just never seen a UFO before.

The photo in the top right of the squares sort of looks like th TR-3B flying triangle. Perhaps it was a response to the fleet of other UFO's? Seems we would send our best to investigate (or test its performance), and some claim technology such as the TR3B was designed specifically for investigating and if necessary, defend from true ETs, which is why it isn't used in conventional military operations. Could be saving that card for when its needed, such as ET contacts.

Definitely interesting footage of the event. Things have been seen in the sky that are unexplainable since ancient times, there has to be something to it. By definition these are ufo's.

I suppose you also set round objects on fire at home and try to get a nice sun tan from them also?

I guess what i'm trying to say to you is not everything that is round and glows is the same thing

these object are seen in space, what i want to know is why are there so many light bulbs floating around in space, who idea was that?, i know its dark up there but this is a pretty big challenge, maybe that is where all our moneys gone, you just never know these days do you, i mean hell the sun could be a gigantic lantern

Very interesting footage. I was in Korea this time last year, was an awesome experience for me, friendly people, great food!! Any chance someone who speaks Korean could give a rough transcript for us? I for one would be interested to hear what was said in the news report.

Our own air craft don't even need them

Well...I'm in...I'm really in. I've lurked for 5+ years now...sometimes disappointed, sometimes not...but I've watched this site with real anticipation and expectations. What I have found to be true is that traditional media sources are not getting the job done....and yet...there is only so much a man with a family to support can say.

As I read this post about an open source Korean Times article, I find it curious that some points are ignored and other distractions come front and center. So here is my challenge to ATSers...:

1) provide a clear methodology for anonymous communications on ATS sim to zerohedge.com
2) cut the riff raff, give the moderator power to select people who can post, I don't want to read a 12 yr old's post
3) have group ats meetings nationally which are advertised and pre-selected.
4) create "facters" who can test water supplies, capture astronomy data reliably, and comment intelligently on a variety of subjects (free scientists)

No, I'm not joking. Think about it; these are now becoming too common place.....military experiment for sure.

Ok....let us say that these aircraft are high-tech man made right here on earth...UFO's......and let us also say that in every major country in the world....these man made UFO's exist....for what purpose?

Are they getting ready for an advanced version of defense...in case WW3 happens? Or.....is there even more of a hidden agenda than that? Is planet Earth ...someday...actually going to have to defend itself against invaders from another planet? Remember...that often...the truth sounds like fiction.

TRADITIONAL MEDIA sources are compromised. This is why an event as astounding and publicly seen by so many people....Phoenix UFO sightings as example....because they were so public....get a 30 to 45 second media coverage story my all major networks....then are never revisited again. Go out and do it then, then you can post your findings on here and we can debunk you for a change, shouldn't be to hard to replicate,

Caladonea....you have to first understand the construct of secrecy that has been created around anything that is E.T. Then understand that we have recovered alien Tech....but it takes us FOREVER to reverse engineer it. Then know that we have do this in some limited ways and developed Military tech. that would only be used in a DEFCON-4 event....and even then....it would be secret.

They don't want this tech. or even the knowlede of it's existance known by other countries or even our own populous. Split Infinity

I can't know for sure about others, but I don't believe it is the shape of each object which has led some to think that these are lanterns. It is the way they move. Each object seems to be moving fairly steadily without making any serious accelerations or direction changes. A powered object is able to apply a force to accelerate them, which we do not see in this video. Of course a powered object can travel at a constant velocity, but so do unpowered objects. There is nothing I have seen which can conclusively show that these are powered objects, so a type of floating lantern moving in air flow is a viable theory.

One thing that interests me though, as well as others, is the brightness of these objects. I'm not sure how bright a lantern would have to be to appear as bright as the lights in the video. But if it's not a lantern, then what else would produce a steady light and with no distinct acceleration?

of all the balloon cases, I wonder why no one has ever come forward and said "oh yeah, those are my balloons up there. I have infused them with radioactive isotopes that make them glow and fastened metal rods to each of them to keep them in a stable formation, so as to be unaffected by the winds up at that height."

I understand if you're afraid. We can call them balloons if you like.

Totally. I've wondered that. What I've also wondered is if people think they know what Chinese lanterns look like simply because they are basing it on other UFO videos that somebody here just decided to call Chinese lanterns. My issue is that, when I actually look up footage of official Chinese lantern festivals, they look nothing like these UFO fleet videos.

It's more like "Hey, these things are Chinese lanterns because they look just like those other UFO videos that we call Chinese lanterns"

In China do they just call them lanterns?

Are there any other videos of this sighting?

I'd rather not see any video than to see something like this (and most of the others).

Blurry lights in a dark night sky. It's a shame to even call it a ufo, since that implies it is a single huge object that defies gravity! Clearly it is so blurry, we can't even guess at what these lights are.

Let's call them "lights in the sky" instead of UFOs, because that's exactly what they are. People are so caught up in X Files and television alien movies that anytime someone hears the word UFO, despite what the letters stand for, people assume it's an alien craft. It is the implied and unspoken assumption by many people, and that's the only reason this junk gets so much attention.

For such brilliant, advanced technology, those alien craft sure are scared of the light and never stay around long. Sure not friendly enough to give us all a little demonstration in plain sight. Heck! They're like children playing games of hide n go seek, but they only play at night and like some old witch in the forest with a skin disorder, cannot come out during plain day in the light for long enough to prove she exists!

Ever notice that when it comes to alleged video clips of UFOs that the video is usually degraded quality, jittery, out of focus, and usually from a far distance that you can barely see any details? Why is this? The only thing that we get to see are bright spots of lights that sometimes will be flickering. Why is this?

Perhaps because it is all part of a global hoax designed to keep us fascinated and obsessed with all things UFOs. We as a planet should beware of a global hoax designed to make us believe that UFOs exist. What if they don't? Then what?

They look like lanterns to me, but I'd have thought that Koreans would know what lanterns look like. Pretty common sight in those parts, after all.

It seems strange that they'd put it on the news. Maybe they thought it anomalous. Would be nice to get a translation of the commentary...
