I was checking out some latest elenin and crop circles vids and came across this guy, he gives daily updates on the comet elenin and says it's 16 times the size of Jupiter,he uses soho and lasco viewer but with his research is making ready for the impact and/ or pole shift. He's latest claim is that mercury was destroyed as it went behind the sun, deffinately worth a watch. If you think you'd heard it all, every day brings another believer !,

I'm fairly certain if that was the case then we would have heard about it...

Wouldnt NASA had said something about this? A whole planet being destroyed (Even though it is a small one)..

Who cares? Its not like we will actually miss Mercury. The mass will still be in orbit so even if Mercury was destroyed it would not affect us much any if at all. Also, do you really believe this crap?

I'm not sure we would have heard about anything in this world anymore... But I do think this would be such a big event, if it did happen, we'd be experiencing some effects from it soon

How would that affect astrology?

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that we would have seen the explosion unaided visually. Also, I assume there would be a debris field, it would have changed the trajectory somewhat, and last, wouldn't the effects of a missing planet cause some issues with other orbits? Not sure. Just spitballing here...

That's so dumb! We would've heard about it! People would've seen it! Come on now! We have to think! THINK! How in the world could they hide something that big?...

The mass would still be in about the same orbit as before so we would not even notice any change in our orbit. Not sure if we would see a debris field or not, we don't have anything else to compare it too. If Mercury was destroyed it would not be caused by a 4km comet.
edit on 18-8-2011 by BIGPoJo because: On a side note, we would not see the debris field it would probably look like a point of light considering its distance.

There's an easy way to prove this false. Go outside shortly before 6 AM and look East. Mercury should be visible right above the horizon shortly before the sun rises.

Umm, no it's not.

Since when is watching/hearing bald face hoaxes "worth a watch"? I mean, if the guy posting the video gets hit in the head with a snow shovel or get's kicked squarely in the nuts at the end of the clip....well, THAT may be worth watching. Otherwise, it's all crap.
