If you haven't heard of this, here's the premise of the show...

Someone that has a secret (whether proposing, quitting their job, announcing a baby, etc.) contacts the show (host is Howie Mandel), and they organize a flash mob for the event, with hundreds or even thousands of people in choreographed steps...right out of some kind of movie.

The premiere was last night, and was a guy's proposal. It was actually really moving, especially when you consider what must have been going through this woman's mind as she started to see waiters break out in song and dance, and then go outside where hundreds were dancing the same steps, etc.

Cheesy, yes, but heartwarming, and good entertainment.

I was just talking about this show this morning, I didn't catch the beginning, but from where he proposed. I don't watch much t.v. anymore, but I'm glad I did. I actually teared up at her reaction.

I found that I was living my life around TV programing and DVR recordings were dominating my time, so I turned in my DVR and dropped down to basic cable. Now I hardly watch TV at all, and don't even know what's on anymore. I hadn't heard about this show. I'm glad that you told us about it. It's really cute and a real feel good show, just what we need, these days.

Here's the Youube of last night show:

It kinda sucks, tho, that she wasn't able to pick out her own wedding dress. That one doesn't fit her well.

For an impromptu wedding though...

I mean c'mon, she's going to have a story for life...and it's hard to beat THAT proposal story!

For one evening, she lived a real life movie, a real moment she can treasure for the rest of her days.

Yeah, their kids will enjoy the story. It's a great story. But a girl dreams of her wedding for years, what flowers to choose what kind of cake, and the dress, OH THE DRESS! It's the most special thing in a woman's life is to pick a wedding dress. It is a big deal.

They should go and have a proper wedding now. I hope that they do.
