What a smart shopping president...should have looked at Clintons expenses before starting this thread...2 million is nothing!

Either way Obama has cost us billions not millions....just saying!

$20.8 BILLION spent this year alone in Afghanistan...

And you guys are whining about a measly $2 mil tour bus.

There are actually people in this thread trying to justify why the president, the person that is suppose to be leading this nation by example, is riding around in a $2 mil bus, made in Canada no less(no disrespect to the Canucks brothers and sister). Anyone in government using any kind of taxpayer money on such a frivolous expense should be charged with theft and treason. I don't wanna hear that the president needs to be safe. If we can't afford to PAY OUR BILLS then he can't afford to be campaigning in a tour bus like he's friggin Hannah Montana. This guy actually had the nerve to say he couldn't promise SS check would go out a month ago. This is insanity!!!!!!!!!!

It is not an off the line bus. It has been implemented with all types of security just like every vehicle the President rides in has. What exactly those measures are is not public knowledge for very obvious reasons. You can bet that the windows are all now bulletproof and things like that however.

Maybe if the President had good intentions he wouldn't need to have security. Seeings how this President has anything but good intentions he secures himself with mass amount of our money.
