Your countries exports to Europe wouldnt be so big if you where outside the EEA. Fact is, being inside the EEA HELPS your exports out of your local country.
If you where outside the EEA companies that dependant on exports to Europe, would find it very expensive and hard, and not be as competitive.
That also includes Exporting to the UK as it is in the EEA.
Well so it should, that was what the EU was supposedly set up for, to increase trade among member countries.
Why do you think Germany wants to 'save' Ireland on the other PIGS nations with bailouts? Its not out of the goodness of their hearts, its because they know if one country collapses then German banks will be on the hook for billions in losses, and the German exports will at the very least decrease.

From 2009, the infamous Red House report from 1944
www.dailymail.co.uk...
The paper is aged and fragile, the typewritten letters slowly fading. But US Military Intelligence report EW-Pa 128 is as chilling now as the day it was written in November 1944.
The document, also known as the Red House Report, is a detailed account of a secret meeting at the Maison Rouge Hotel in Strasbourg on August 10, 1944. There, Nazi officials ordered an elite group of German industrialists to plan for Germany's post-war recovery, prepare for the Nazis' return to power and work for a 'strong German empire'. In other words: the Fourth Reich.
Enlighten me... What did you want to express with that link? That germany has a hidden agenda to take over europe? When the time is right nazis pop up everywhere (they developed that technique after they established their base on the dark side of the moon) to take control? I would expect something like this from the daily mail but not from someone who calls himself a scholar and a writer let alone a liberal Elite...

Because everybody in Europe is dependant on each other, they are all exporting to each other, it is in their own interests everywhere for them to help each other out.
Being together is stronger than being isolated or do you want the status quo of America again?

I was pro EU until the Lisbon treaty. They showed they don't care what the people think when they rehashed the rejected European constitution into the Lisbon treaty, and then refused to accept the result of the first Irish referendum, basically forcing a second referendum until they got the right result. I don't think a Franco-German driven EU would be run in the interests of the European people, instead it would mainly benefit Germany and to a lesser extent France. The ECB mainly serves German economic interests from what I can see.

on a side note, isn't it funny how nearly each and every proponent of world gov't has underlying hate issues? when they aren't altking about how someone is too stupid, they ramble how much they contribute and how people who disagree probably don't. the other one (metaldemon - sp?) is even openly advocating eugenics. i have the sinking feeling the contribution will eventually be towards war and suffering but then i'm reading a conspiracy board, so i'm nuts anyways, right
be that as it may, i think NWO exists but even if it did not, the concept alone really serves to flesh out the personalities of certain people - ignore at own peril!

Ok then, but the reality here in Canada (at least in my province) is that employers NEEDS employees! The economy is going pretty well around here. I cant talk for Ontario but im pretty sure its the same way. But i must admit that if you have no education or only highschool, there isnt a lot of stuff to do..
Jesus mate im with you, makes me want to cry reading some of these responses & these are people on ATS !? What about the randomers on the street who dont even know what a conspiracy is !?
...[The EU is cv] the very incarnation of an international organization of integration in which Member States have agreed to relinquish sovereignty in order to strengthen the coherence and effectiveness of their actions.
...If there is one place on earth where new forms of global governance have been tested since the Second World War, it is in Europe. European integration is the most ambitious supranational governance experience ever undertaken. It is the story of interdependence desired, defined, and organized by the Member States. In no respect is the work complete—neither geographically nor in terms of depth (i.e., the powers conferred by the Member States to the E.U.), nor, obviously, in terms of identity....
Our challenge today is to establish a system of global governance that provides a better balance between leadership, effectiveness, and legitimacy on the one hand, and coherence on the other...

I knew a person who was studying in canada, to get a work permit, they would have to cancel their study permit, and that required leaving Canada. So, is it easy to migrate study permits to work permits? On the other hand the jobs that need to be done by employers wont be done by locals, yet if immegrants get them, they cry foul. No win situation.

Funny they talk about long term "Political Solutions". If they want that they need to have permission from the various country's peoples to be democratic otherwise there is going to be more trouble on the streets. I don't think many countries outside of France and Germany want their economic policy dictated to by France and Germany

If you don't want a Franco-German run EU; get in there and contribute.
Reminds me of America whining about the UN, so go get in there and fix it.
But for people to start staming their feet and throwing the word "nazi" about does not fix anything and just shows ignorance.
