Granpa's Mushroom Chicken

Tried an experiment last night and it turned out great so I thought I would share it .

Large bag of chicken thighs
Large can of Mushroom soup
Large can of Cream of Chicken soup

cook in bag brown rice

In a large pan mix the two soups together and add water to about half way up the pan .
add the chicken to fill the pan..liquid should just cover the chicken
Cook @ 400 for an hour

Make the brown rice as per instructions on the box

When the chicken is done ..serve on a bed of rice useing the liquid as a gravy.

Yum! I've made something similar before, but added an extra can of sliced mushrooms, because I love mushrooms so much. If I had an oven this would be on the menu tonight. *Drools*

This is the fun thing about this recipe experiment with it !
Add mushrooms ..pearl onions..chives you name it..its all good !
