In my opinion, and circumstantial evidence seems to agree, you are correct. I would go so far as to say that this steaming ##SNIP## properly belongs at the door of the late but not great Richard M. Nixon.

Remember, just because RP wants to end the wars, doesn't mean he will be weak on defense. The key word is defense.

Don't fall for the false idea that he will open the U.S. to attack, or won't deal with terrorist threats. The thing is, under RP, we won't be creating terrorists due to our foreign policy.

The Founding Fathers of the United States included a passage in the Constitution, which allowed for a solution to problems like the ones the US faced after the attacks on 9/11. Rather than invading multiple countries in search of a ragtag crew of air pirates, Letters of Marque and Reprisal would have allowed for the President to pursue the individuals responsible for the attack in a precise manner.

After the attacks on 9/11, Congressman Ron Paul introduced a bill in the Congress, which would have specified the scope for a mission to take down the terrorists responsible for the attacks on 9/11. First and foremost, the proposal was Constitutional and secondly, it was highly targeted and wouldn’t have resulted in thousands of Americans being killed senselessly. Had Congressman Ron Paul’s proposal for letters of Marque and Reprisal, HR 3076, been passed by the United States Congress in October of 2001, trillions of dollars and thousands of lives would not have been lost in the search for Osama bin Laden.

It goes without saying that President Paul would have killed Osama bin Laden far quicker and with more finesse than both George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

While I really think that Ron Pauls is honest and trustworthy and has been on the "right side" for almost all his political life... I do not at all believe that he can really change the game. Because it's not the POTUS who reigns in the US - it's the military-industrial complex. So even IF Mr Paul would be POTUS he would have no chance at all against all those powerful lobbyists. And he would be much too dangerous for TPTB with his controversial opinion on many topics out there. He would potentially end like JFK.

Besides that I think that it will become very very hard for Ron Paul to be nominated for his party. I believe it has been a big mistake that he runs for the Republicans. He should have done it on his own without any party!

Anyway - I love this guy

Maybe your right, maybe Ron Paul will lie about something when he gets in office, but look at it like this, it could be a hell of a lot worse. He's the best of a bad situation.

It's not '___'. Comments like that come from people who don't have a clue. Ron Paul would open the market not just for cannabis, but also industrial hemp. No THC in industrial hemp, doesn't get you high, yet it's still considered a controlled substance. Ever wonder why? Look up the prohibition of cannabis and see that Dupont has a big hand in it, because hemp was a direct, non-patentable competitor for their chemical based textiles. Hemp can also be used as fuel, highly nutritious food, and extremely durable building materials. It also grows very fast, and can be grown just about anywhere. Again, talking about industrial hemp, no THC, but still illegal.

Yea Ron Paul is the man. Now though, the media machine, bought and paid for, is pushing their posterboy, Rick Perry to the forefront.

It sounds to me like you bumped your head bro. Ron Paul the anti-christ? That's ridiculous. Nobody is falling for the hook, line and sinker, because there is no hook, line and sinker because the media is ignoring him. It's the internet that is waking people up, and it is his stance against the Federal Reserve that seperates him from the rest. That is why the media, and the puppet masters who control them, try to play his poll numbers down. The guys voting record speaks for itself.
