I just got a random call on skype

It was from something labeled Urgent Notice protection is expired.
Has this ever happened to anyone before?
I have never had a random call in the 2 years I have had skype..and it is usually always running in the background.
I did not answer and I blocked the caller, I just wondered if this might be some sort of virus attempt...or if that is even possible from skype!

Maybe telemarketer trying to sell you something? You would of had to answer to find out for sure.

Wow, that's annoying..Hmmm, I didn't realize you could get random unknown calls on skype!
Thanks...I was too surprised to answer, but if it happens again maybe I will..Just to see whats up.

Opt out of the skype me service and this should stop anyone being able to contact you, i could be wrong though as i do not know if there are any changes under the hood since windoze bought into it.
