Am I the only one who thought this new Superheros popup was a malicious virus?

I have not had so many virus. Took me a little while to figure it out since I never saw an ad work like that and I sort of avert the ads with my eyes anyway. I like to think I am fooling someone if I try not to look at the ads, I won't be one of the sheep they are designed for. I will not be one of the "See it - Want it" people.

It started talking and to tell the truth it startled me because I know I wasn't playing anything. Maybe it is me? I was watching some videos as well and then opened up a thread and maybe I accidentally hit the link in the upper right corner but all of a sudden my screen filled with the yellow trailer. I wasn't really listening to what it was saying either it was just going on and on, to where I couldn't concentrate and I had to shut my speakers off.

I didn't see or notice the yellow trailer with the SUPER and the Superheros on it so when this thing cropped up the first couple of times I kept freaking out.

Finally I put 2 and 2 together and decided it was just too late and I am just too tired to keep my cursor from wandering over that ad and setting it off. More than the drooping eyeballs, this signals time for bed.
Goodnight valiant warriors, armchair prophets and bearers of news.

hi newcovenant,
+ thanks for that,

it is a hint at what possibly caused my "out-of-the-blue" computer melt-down today...

could not work out why,,,
but one of the last thing i did was the usual ATS check-up...
then...
i lost all web browser control,
then LAN dropped out,

it was useless...

maybe???

seeya...

some ads (in particular the one for Super) are "rollover" ads. all you need to do is move your cursor over the add and it will open. what sucks is that they usually place ads of this kind near the toolbar at the top of the screen so you rollover the ad numerous times. i find them extremely annoying because you have to navigate the page like you're traveling using backroads.

Add me to the list.
My computer locked up on me Thursday and it took me 3 hours to get it back running again.
