Dr. Ron Paul has been in the right for some time now. If you wonder the right of what? The right of the constitution made by our forefathers. He is a man I can feel proud to be MY leader, MY president of the United States Of America people. . He will lead america out of this recession, WAR on terror BS, and back on track the way it should be. Wake up please for the sake of you, your children, and your children's children. " Vote for DR. RON PAUL 2012!!!!

If he does somehow end up president and go against those who are responsible for all the wrong doings of the world then he will most likely be the target of certain interests. Regardless I hope your right and maybe there will be some positive changes in the future.

Paul's not going to do jack to the recession. The "cut and cut and let the magical market fairies sprinkle their pixie dust on it!" approach just doesn't work.

Of course, the very system itself is inherently flawed, but I'm not going to hold out hope for ANY American politician to even broach that subject, until the Midwest looks like "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome"

If you're putting your last hopes in a politician--and make no mistake, Ron Paul is a politician--you should probably step back and reconsider your liberty as a human being. Not as a citizen, but as a human being. Not because of the constitution, but because of your existence. No document, and no law, will ever ensure your freedom.

Only you can do that. So to hell with the politicians, the esteemed Dr. Paul included.

I agree with you Op. The only problem with voting for Ron Paul is regardless of how many votes he gets there's no way in hell the Elite will let him rule the US. Remember, presidents are Selected not Elected!!

I'd like to see him elected but then what could he do with a hostile congress??

His own beliefs would force him to be impotent..

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Ron Paul is only worth considering as a "last hope," if you happen to be someone who doesn't believe in taking responsibility for your own life.

Try reading about the organic urban farming movement. They're not waiting for Ron Paul (or anyone else) to save them. They're doing it themselves.

I think as an outsider looking in, that he would be a huge mistake for America as both sides of the house would probably unite against him, making him the most impotent president in history.

Another thing, its all good coming out with right on sound bites and statements when you are not in power and am not likely to be, but a whole different ball game when you find yourself to be elected!

As the LibDems in the UK are finding out at the moment.

They are being accused of being sellouts after ditching all of their self righteous rhetoric once elected. They found that there is a massive difference between slogans and reality.

I fear Ron Paul would find out the same thing very quickly.

Very well said. While I dont think Ron Paul will be able to turn the country around overnight, he is the only candidate, possibly the only politician in the US, who sincerely believes in the rights of the citizen over the will of the government. One of the few politicians who truly understands monetary policy and sound money. He has vocally criticized institutions which have traditionally been untouchable from the Military Industrial Complex to the "Federal Reserve".

How many politicians have a spot-less personal and political record? This man's beliefs have been consistent for the past 30 years as evidenced by his rhetoric and voting record. And now, these other candidates have started to morph into Ron Paul clones...speaking about liberty, the Constitution, sound money, etc.

Never before has a politician been this demonized and censored by BOTH sides of the establishment. They're scared and it shows.

To those who refuse to consider Ron Paul for whatever reason, I ask this.

Give the man one chance. If in 4 years, his policies do not help America, fine. There will be a thousand Republicrats and Demlicans to return us to our current state of decline.

Give real change a chance.

They should be scared. There are people like me who have not voted in the last 3 elections because every candidate has been CRAP who are about to step up to the polls and attempt to take back our constitution and put America back on track with our foreign policies.

I've seen so many posts saying don't bother, he won't get elected, well, I for one am going to try to prove them wrong and he will have my vote if he makes it.
