Barstoolsports.com on August 11th posted a naked picture of Tom Brady's 2 year old son while vacationing on their private beach in Brazil. The story makes light of the genital region of Tom's son Benji.

Reaction has been primarily negative citing the picture is child pornography, and under increased scrunity the picture was taken down eventually after a cease and desist order was enacted by Brady's legal team. The website owner stands behind posting the picture.

ok? What's your point?

I see naked kids all the time. I work in a photo lab. Is that pornography? If so, should doctors be arrested for delivering babies because they look at naked children for a living? It's a stupid slippery slope.

surely to 99.9999999% of people this is just a picture of a 2 year old and not a sexual stimulant....

aren't all 2 year olds naked most of the time??

can't anyone on any sunny beach in any part of the world see this everyday, everywhere?

just saying... x

I see a privacy issue more than anything porn related. If it was my kid i would'nt want nude photo's splashed around the net. Celebrities or not they deserve as much privacy and respect when it comes to there children as any other people.

As a celebrity at risk of being in the public eye, letting his kid frolic on a beach naked....he should have known this was a possible risk.
I saw tons of naked baby at the beach this summer! Pretty darn cute to see naked babies toddle in nature!

Now yes, there are perverts out there who could do dirty things with a photo like this and the baby is a minor so I don't think they should have published it.

Would I want photos of my adorable naked baby at the beach? YES!
Would I want America looking at photos of my naked baby at the beach? NO!

Paparazzi are sneaky, private beach or not....it is a risk he needs to be more cautious about in the future.

Just to clarify the story the beach is privately owned.

My 2 cents is with the amount of perverts in the world there is NO justification of publishing this type of picture. The website went over the line posting a picture such as this.

What was the source of the picture? I understand a website posted it, but was this a paparazzi lurking in the bushes shooting pics and happened to sell the child picture along with the rest?

It seems to me that if basic human decency were something we could still take for granted, this debate wouldn't even happen as a picture of this nature would never have been considered, let alone actually posted. Legal? Illegal? Does that really matter? I don't need the law to define this before I call it wrong in my view.

The photo is from a paparazzi photographer.

The website owner is now designing T-shirts to highlight the picture and is attempting to exploit the outrage.

News report link from WCVB Boston: www.thebostonchannel.com...

The simple facts of this are
A: The beach was privately owned hence photos shouldn't be taken. Whats the difference between a private beach and their bathroom?

B: The child of a celebrity should be left alone. They are not aware of their "Status".

C: If you think posting nude pictures of 2 year olds is ok, you may want to re-examine your head. Sadly there are people out there who like this stuff.

I don't find a nude toddler a disgusting sight. Sure, there are people who wank to that stuff. I'm not one. I'm sure when I have kid's I'll take pictures of them in the bathtub. My parents took them of me. I still don't see why this is such a big deal, at least not for the reasons you're saying it's a big deal.

I'd personally say there is a world of difference between having pictures taken at bath time by mom and dad or some funny moment by a small child in the family and posting a nude pic of a 2yr old celebrities child out of a private beach, shot by gutter running paparazzi. Was this the ONLY photo they had? Surely not. Why choose this one of the bunch? It's just bad taste at the very best and a more than a little creepy and sick at worst.
