I do believe this is true and also what drives the NWO fear. People have to have that boogyman in the closet to blame things on and will not accept the fact that their problems may just be part of the cycle of life. They feel the need to have someone as the cause of their pain.

Certainly there is an endless amount of corruption and greed among the rich but their are also many self made people who achieved what they have. I would suggest if people are feeling so controlled that they join the wealthy and become one themselves.

It's not hard and if you are not rich or not in the process of becoming wealthy you lack one of three things:

The desire

The intelligence

The hard work

People need to ask themselves which of those areas they are failing in and address that instead of shifting blame to those that have already made it.

Let's not talk about economic realities, lets talk about how the poor are poor because they are not smart and they are lazy. Where have I heard this argument before. Oh yeah, rape victims.

There are plenty of people who have made it from being poor to rich so ask youself why some can do it and others can't.

Some people would rather have children or other priorities other than sacrificing what they need to in order to achieve financial security so like I said it's either desire, intelligence, or hard work the poor people are lacking.

I will make a note however that some people are beyond choice. Those with sever handicaps or injuries are unfortunately stuck with limited choices.

I'm sure Bill Gates pays more in taxes in one year than you will in your entire lifetime yet receives no more benefits from the State than you do.

Is that fair?
Yes that's fair! He has so much money sitting in a bank! SO MUCH MONEY!!!!!!! He should pay 50X more in taxes than what ordinary Americans do.

It's not unfair that people who have so much money that they can't even spend it all would have to pay more in taxes than those who can barely scrape by, it's unfair that those who can barely scrape by have to pay the same amount in taxes than those who have tons of money.

Tell me kro, what is fair about somebody who has money stacked up to the ceiling of a bank vault paying the same amount of money in taxes than somebody who is stressing about paying the bills in time? What, is that too hard on the rich? Does that hurt their feelings that the millions of dollars that they aren't using could be used to help this country out, especially in a time of need?

What is your logic in thinking that the rich should be taxed the same as the poor?

He should at least get a statue of him placed somewhere.

Silly sheep!
OK the world is in debt, with me so far?
Those in the OP hold the mark on the debt.
when the world defaults, and we all know it will, who forecloses on it all?
I may be a rube from the PNW but when a debt is not repaid the one holding it takes the collateral used to make the loan.
So are we thinking in scope yet?
the goal of EVERYTHING being an owned commodity is upon us and they just may have put enough control power into the world to achieve it. It is most certainly the outcome that the ´foreclosure´ event will be kept quiet, in fact I believe it has already occurred and this is the painful transition drama set up to scare the public into acceptance.
Social security mortgaged your productive output and the banks-rupted the structure making us productive in real goods and not paper trading and now the ones holding the debt are taking the collateral. Sobering,eh?
So the question really is who owns America? What are his or their future plans for We the people?
It is a done deal so it is time to take off the blinders and recognize with the real deal and not the curtain hiding the wizards.
Is their ´money´ worth any of this? Does mankind need an overlord race? Better make up your minds because one is making a go of it , again ( a little historical continuity goes a long way)

So you want a society where everybody is exactly even? Like communism?

I believe the system you seek currently exists in China and you can probably get a flight there tonight if you hurry.

Because somebody, God forbid, earns more than you they shouldn't have to give their money away till you both are equal.

The old saying "It takes money to make money" comes to mind.
They (PTB) have this all gamed out a hundred ways from Sunday -
- If the populace rebels they institute martial law and gain more.
- Same goes for any socialist or communist movement.
- working "with the system" only leads to band aid legislation with no real teeth to punish the guilty.
Whatever happens the rich will not suffer. If things get bad enough they will simply move to one of their other houses in some other country. Flying on private jets with multiple passports they can go anywhere they darn well please unlike 99% of the population,
If the police fail to protect them they can always hire private security contractors that somehow have license to run around in public with automatic weapons without fear of arrest by authorities (see Katrina).

As science and technology further develop methods of mass control and manipulation those with the $ will gain even more control than they have now. This has but one result in the end - a permanent ownership class and a slave class. The middle class is nearly dead and will be gone within 20 years.

I'm not an advocate for wealth redistribution but I do advocate for a fairer tax structure say where you would pay no income tax on the first $20 - 30,000 of what you make annually as you need that to pay bills (like mortgages).
This would keep many on the edge of financial disaster solvent and prevent them from going on public assistance.

The very rich and corporations have so many tax loopholes that they often end up with a negative tax balance. This needs correcting. There;s no reason why they should not be taxes on everything they earn ::cough:: earn, really? But that's another question.

None of this will happen though we might be led to believe that such a movement is happening simply to keep the masses quiet.

I have never had less hope for the world than I do now. I thank God I've had a great life but I have little faith that my children or grandchildren will enjoy the freedom or material benefits that I've had. The dream is vanishing and with it our very humanity.

The rioters in London are called animals and thugs for stealing while those in high leadership positions make huge sums basically the same way and are rewarded for their deceit and malfeasance. And we wonder why nihilism is fast becoming the world's biggest philosophy in the industrialized world.

I'm so broke I can't afford to pay attention!

But seriously, I agree that obscene wealth is not necessary. however, I also believe that you should be allowed to accumulate wealth without being penalized. There does come a point though where you have enough and it's time to step aside or just stop getting more. I could live comfortably the rest of my life with $1M. Of course I know what to do with said money and I know a lot do not.

I don't care if it's like communism, it's fair! What happened to that fairness that you were talking about in your last post kro?

It's unfair to you that Mr. Drives A Porche In A $4000 Tuxedo On The Way To His Yacht Club has to pay more in taxes than somebody who drives a car that badly needs maintenance on the way to their less than decent paying job? :bnghd:

If somebody has tons of money that they are not using, then some of that money should be used to help out the country, especially in a time of need like now. Making the argument that I think we should scrap out form of government and follow in Chinas footsteps is a huge leap, I'm just saying tax the people who have 500X more money that the average person more than the average person, how is that wrong?

It's a very slippery slope to start dictating to people how successful they can be. Who will make that decision and what qualifies them to do so.

Absolutely not. That is a welfare state and before you know it nobody will be motivated to do anything. They will just let a few people accumulate wealth and sit back because they know their check is in the mail.

The ability to fail or succeed is what drives this country and always has. If nobody has a reason to work harder they won't as Soviet Russia proved.

I have to agree with you on this kro.

I think that what the op is actually saying is...................." I will only do as much as it takes to survive, no more, no less".........I don't blame the rich man for working his butt off to make something of himself........People continue to make excuses and fail to do anything to help themselves out of the gutter.....

What kind of disturbs me though, is the record profits and rising prices.......I am really on the fence about that......

I guess you can say, I don't hate them

The so-called "Global Financial Crisis" simply redistributed and concentrated the world's wealth into very, very few hands. Lowly wage earners are carrying the nation's debt - now $14,588,853,570,235.83 - but the rich get to sock it away.

It was engineered deliberately, and was a massive heist. It was a re-distribution of wealth from the poor to the already filthy rich.

The bail out money went straight into the shareholders' accounts and massive bonuses to the top banksters.

It's probably the biggest heist which has ever occurred on the planet.

That's exactly how the system works to keep the poor that way. The tax codes work against those struggling and the bankers decide who can and cannot obtain credit to further opportunity.
The government and banks make those decisions and what qualifies them to do so? - their wealth and positions of authority, or course.
