Who cares? Tupac sucked! Rap sucks! Hip hop has been on a downward spiral since the late 80's. I'm glad he's dead because because he sucked but, I'm sad he's dead because he became a martyr for his own music.

Um how would you label someone who said these types of things???I dont really think you campare my use of the word "gay" to what this individual said...not even close..you can label me anyway you want..I dont care..I simply stated that your assumtion was wrong..do you think my assumtion based on the above statement is wrong??i read between the lines and its obvious what his opinions are about..

The same people that shared his opinions about tupac are the same people that killed him..and martin luther king...and malcom x

Would it be such a big shocker that someone involved in gangs and makes money insulting others and glorifying himself, be shot? If he had never made it big time it would just be another gang member down in the vicious cycle. And if he did fake his own death, his fans owe him the privacy of acheiving a normal life. I commend him for leaving a legacy, because there has been a lot of music and cryptic messages left in his music. Let the poor man go, if he is dead, his ghost must be wandering around waiting for people to let him go and accept his death. PLEASE DON'T LET TUPAC BE THE NEXT ELVIS, LET HIM DIE ALREADY!!!

I have listened to his music and dont really remember him simply making money off "insulting others and glorifying himself" I take you have never listened to his music so therefore what you say is a uneducated steerotype.....the only people he insulted are the same people I insult..which is currupt police, politicians, and judges..ect..and as far as gloryfing himself...thats what ALL "superstars" do..regardless of the type of entertainment they are involved in...

Thugs are the creation of the people in charge of America. Those same people who forced blacks into ghettos, those same people who neglected minorities, those same people who ignored and locked them behind bars for life. Those same people who distributed coc aine in the ghettos, while waging a war on drugs with high jail penalties.

This statement doesn't intend to be racist in anyway, but the thug is the creation of the white man.

I gladly stand up for those who are oppressed but no amount of oppresion forces you to do drugs, oppress women and commit crime, which are the general outlines for Thugs. I have a certain appreciation for rap, but its a glorification of a lifestyle that often leads to drivebys and whatnot. That was my point, minus the record contract, arn't men like him shot dead all the time due to their own surroundings?

thug(noun)
1. brutal person
somebody, especially a criminal, who is brutal
and violent.

Don't see anything about race here... maybe I have an old copy?

"Thug life" is an underground way of life...doesnot mean they do drive bys and beat woman[as far as drugs go..I say we are all opressed by the government because we are not free to use them if we wish too]...but to say those things about tupac obviously shows that you do not know anything about what he rapped about...most rappers simply describe what happens in the ghettos that most people dont even no about before it they made it mainstream... people obviously do not now how to see the symbolism in things.....my favorite is the movie "scarface"....thats the thug life style...loyal to you friends...brave...but underground and not accepted by the cowards that make up most of america and need the police to provide protection from the poor...people are such cowards

CIA distributed coc aine through out the ghettos of America. The crime starts from the drugs (from the CIA) and the lack of finance due to lack of opportunities in the ghetto. I don't think most people really understand the ghetto. It's mini 3rd world countries in the richest country on the planet. Isn't there something wrong with this picture?

Minorities are always going to be oppressed in America. Right-wing conservatives fear the rise of them, and that is the flat out truth.

dictionary terms cannot describe every single person that are labeled as such..thats impossible....so you say tupac was brutal??? I can be brutal aswell...someone starts a fight with me you should see me go off...if that makes me a thug then so be it!!! Im no coward and I will fight any time im challenged...

edit: Im more than willing to fight somebody that challenges me and im a "criminal" because I smoke pot..so by your definition I am a thug aswell...seems like the term thug can easily be put on anybody by a few oppressive laws

Point is, this guy is by no means anything close to a saint. You want somebody to rally behind, that's great, but maybe ya should find somebody with a little more virtue.

Your never going to understand man........

People are dying in the streets daily. This is the lifestyle they our living. I don't see why a 2pac song is such a big deal, but no complaints about Arnold Swarznegger killing people on a movie screen.

Bob Dole wanted to ban hip-hop when he ran for election. Like I said, they fear the minorities and will do everything possible to silence them.

This is life, its a constant struggle, when your desperate and live in poverty your resort to the criminal lifestyle. If you don't understand it now, you never will

I'm poor as hell, a single mom, I've been on welfare and I totally support the legalization of drugs, especially marajuana ( my daughter's name is Maryjane ) so tell me how I fit into the "right wing conspiracy"??? You're too quick to defend, and it sends up red flags for me. Is Biggie still alive? Is he dead because he wasn't as popular? I just think its fans wishful thinking. I have to admit that there is some symbolism, but if he really wanted to back out of the lifestyle, right on! He found his own way out, rather complex.
