The missing thunder bird photo may have been found as this picture has several similarities with the reported picture www.cryptomundo.com...
The obvious problem is that the photo displays something like a flying reptile not a bird. Perhaps this may be different. And there's always the constant worry of hoaxers so it could be unrelated.

Try this... www.cryptomundo.com...

The site originally linked would have redirected you there anyway.....

Neat pictures and I'm sure you'll enjoy them!

WHAT!!!

What is that? This CAN"T be real, can it?
That last, more modern, color picture has to be fake!

I once saw an Hawaiian Condor. It had obvious feathers. These picture aren't condors.

That thing looks like it's made of rubber...I'm gonna say it's a fake if these are the pictures in question.

Yeah, the bottom one seems to be a bit too corny to be true... the civil war photo and the lumberjack one are intriguing though....

I thought both Civil War photos looks slightly off. I've seen hundreds of CW photos and have yet to see one overweight foot soldier, let alone two, in the same picture. In the second CW photo (on the web-site link), the soldiers also look more like re-enactors than actual 1860's enlisted men. Something about the beard-styles say "Alabama" the band and not "Alabama" the seceded state, to me ...

There's a thread about this missing photo, has it been notified? Anyway this might be fake but even if it is it looks pretty damn good. As much as I highly doubt mankind has ever encountered living pterodactyls/pterosaurs the search for this photo has intrigued me a great deal. The men look real at least, not sure about the thunderbird in the background, the way its hanging in the ropes is particularly telling, it doesn't appear to actually be resting any weight in them. Still very interesting

For those talking about the second photo on Cryptomundo, its a known fake from a show called Freakylinks, it is believed that this known hoax sparked the search for a supposedly legitimate thunderbird photo.

Honestly, I think all three are faked, the first 2, the people looked too 'modern' to be an old photo, the third one was blatantly fake

Does anyone read any more? The first pic is the one that is supposed to be the missing photo. The third and fourth color pictures are supposed to be pics of two guys inspecting the prop used in the second photo during transport to some crypto museum.
