The issue they have though is their military is literally stuck in the 1950's / 1960's.

That is debatable.

The extent of China's involvement in weapons trade and research/development with NK is very limited. China does a real good job of fooling our intelligence community.

You have no doubt heard of the EMP weaponry they were supposedly testing. There is no exact proof of this but there is evidence.

I want to be optimistic. But when it comes to NK and China, I get a little anxious.

The US needs north Korea to stay hostile in order to use them in the future as a threat.

It gets hard to justify obscene military spending without some aggressor.

Hrm. If they go to war, maybe N. Korea will be too busy to print their own US money anymore.
