Some pretty amazing photos from on the ground in London. It seems to me that it is obviously the youth, who are fed up and taking something back. Although some of the behavior here is terrible, it is obviously a melting pot situation "when you boil it all the bad rises to the top"....

This could be the start of a revolutionary atmosphere for western countries as people get more fed up with what's going on in the world and in their own society. I say BRING ON THE REVOLUTION!!

Obviously this is not a revolution, it is looting and rioting, although historically this is one the first stages.

I wouldn't encourage it, with western culture like more the Canadian and US we are both too much complacent to what really is going on, North America as a whole knows there are riots going on in other countries but we don't do much about it.

As was stated in previous threads,, its not a revolution, its aimless crime... do you really think London out of all cities will allow this to turn into a revolution??

And a revolution for what purpose?? to overtake the govt?

This is obviously the first stage, terrible behavior, as I stated. Although, it takes things like this to make the general public realize that they actually have a bit of power, and if properly mobilized, can actually challenge their governments and effectively bring about a revolution, a change.

The looting of a few stores is nothing compared to what people have been copping on the chin for a long time now, the entire system is corrupt and flawed and needs to GO! While this may be terrible behavior, it is the first step towards a change, people actually taking to the streets and showing the government that they're angry and fed up, it may be misdirected, but it is a start.

Great pics, OP! Thanks.

But this is no revolution. It's a bunch of thugs who wanted free stuff, waited until they thought they could get away with it, and then grabbed it. These people are common criminals who should be locked up!

No romance, no glamor, no "revolution." Just lazy people who think the world owes them a living, or at least a welfare check and a TV.

Digusting.

This is not a revolution, pure thuggery. I makes me feel sad that so many of us are hungry for a real revolution and that the only mass action taken is the same thuggery that bankers, politicians and other gangsters perpetuate.

Hopefully now the Brits realize that being surveilled 24/7 by their government offers NO protection...although I'm sure the man in that picture being robbed would like a fire arm.

If I lived in the UK with all this going on there would be no question in my mind that my allegiance would stand with the government. Could you imagine this actually being a revolution? It would be the French Revolution on steroids! There would not be one Curry’s or TV shop left un-looted.

They're not "taking something back". That implies that they gave something to begin with. They're stealing goods that are not theirs and they are leaving a path of destruction behind them. This isn't a protest, it is total anarchy.

Yes.

I'm not really sure why it's funny, you don't think that a change needs to come? You don't think that there are terrible things going on in this world and at home which are directly supported by our complacency?

I think there needs to be a change, and I think people are so doped up they don't realize they can actually do something.

Oh and just to clarify that I wasn't referring to this situation in London as a REVOLUTION in any sense at all, it is looting and rioting, revolution comes a bit later......this is historically one of the first stages

Brilliant! They're just taking and taking and taking. It'll never be enough. If these are third generation entitlement types they don't even know what "give" is...

Pathetic, lazy, arrogant scumbags of society stealing from those who work hard for a living. Senselessly destroying lives of hard working human beings.

If this is your idea of "revolution" for a new world..... you can keep it.

Even the MSM is attempting to create some kind of sense to the insanity by stating it's "youths reaching for their future" and assinine statements like that. I'm not a sheeple so I know better.

It's a feeding frenzy of those who don't believe they should have to EARN anything. Their actions are proof.

I know, right? I mean when they've assaulted your subjects, plundered your merchants, burnt your shops, denied all obedience to your laws and authority; how clement and forbearing can your conduct be before it becomes incumbent to take a different course?

Edit: Oh wait,I paraphrased what the Brits said about the American colonists. Oops.

That's what the Brits get for winning WWII. The Nazis would not have allowed this.
