Number 111?

A very interesting read I must say. It is more interesting if you try to calculate your age adding your birth date...
Yes you guessed the result is 111 !

For Instance : your age is 43 this year and you were born in 1968.... so 43+68=111

Try your dates and all of you will get 111. Strange

I am not sure what you are saying here? It is just a mathematical equation?

Last year it would of added up to 110, next year it will add up to 112. Everyone ages by one year each year so it will always add up to the same number for everyone if they count the age they will be that year (for this to work it has to be assumed that the yearly birthday for the individual has taken place already)

Is there something special about the number 111 that I am missing? Is it a numerical thing? I was under the impression that one had to keep adding the numbers until it was a single digit?

1+1+1=3 or 11+1= 12, 1+2=3

Did you use the age you WILL be this year? (assuming you haven't had a birthday yet in 2011?)
