What Are We Waiting For...

Intro:

The plight of Man - I look at all of the questions from ATSers with sincere questions and the state of the world.

I have always been fairly apathetic but this is probably the only thing that brings me grief, because we as a species are very confused and the chess pieces are set ominously.

We live our lives
with all the happiness and misery only to cross the unknown threshold for better or worse.

People can create there own belief systems and philosophy bubbles and be satisfied nestled in the familiarity and comfortability ; but for most of us thats not good enough.

We observe whats going on, and we have smelling some bull# for a while. Bad things happen to good people a lot, for no reason. No lesson learned. Good things happen to bad people frequently and with a snowball effect sometimes; with no repercussions at all.....not in this life anyway. The world is chaotic and from our perspective, the universe dont always seem too balanced.

It's almost a home-sick feeling thats hard to explain and makes it hard to function in this society paying the bills, so you can go to work and pay the bills. And this feeling has been getting pretty thick.

Things have been getting worse and worse oh so slightly. We either plunge into a dark age where the children curse their ancestors or an enlightened age.

The Dark will be long and drawn out and the Golden age will happen rapidly bc of a catalyst. PPl come to this website looking to see if that catalyst has happened yet ~ mainly bc there is little to nothing they can do or so they feel.

whether it be WW3, Dollar collapse or disclosure ( if there are aliens, that means world changing technology that will leave the guys in power obsolete) so thats NOT going to happen officially. Disclosure happened a long time ago- Anything thats going to accelerate the stopping of the BS.


Any thing that goes against TPTB will NOT happen unless forced somehow; even then they will most likely react somehow.

Anything that grants them more power and control will continue to happen and anyone who opposes (with power) will be bought or silenced

IMHO I dont think we can stop the events that have been set in motion. Anything that could have been done should have been done by now. The technology is really our only hope. The guys at the top who might be able to help are too comfortable and the bottom of the pyramid is needed to cater to the top 1% basically, bc thats where all the $ ends up.

IMHO the monetary system is outdated and obsolete. It's a scheme to keep certain ppl relevant. education, energy, health should all be free. The idea of money has never made sense to me. Not when i was a child. Not when im 24. A competition based society has a conflict of interest with a functioning global society.

Why do we allow this planetary non-sense to go on? Apparently we cannot do anything about it except wait.

You don't understand my point?

The imbalances caused by association to material human creations create every negative emotional situation you or anyone else has ever found themselves in since the beginning of human creation.

So new and greater technology will just further instill our sense of power over the rest of the world. With that sense of power being present between us and any other being, we will still have a sense of power over humans as well. With power comes hierarchies, comes control, comes the abolition of freedom. Materialism caused by the acquisition of material wealth to acquire material goods is an imbalance to the natural world. This particular imbalance immediately leads to jealousy and envy. From there you go into greed and theft. From there you go into war and occupation. People have gone from being the earth to trying to own it, and that's whats really wrong with the world. Technology will only perpetuate this false sense of self.

I have to disagree with you. Correct me if i'm wrong but you are saying a native indian/avatar way of life is ideal where we sit and meditate on the self, leaving as little impression on earth as possible?

It seems that you believe all humans are inherently materialistic. So we should do away with material?

No- the material helps us grow as people and to learn and ultimately, we get a spiritual education from our fancy technological wizardry.

Like it or not, if we dont perish first, we are rapidly approaching technological synchronicity - and TPTB are slowing this down slighty but its going to happen. It has to happen.

Humans have to be smart and really know what they want or its going to be an extremely bumpy ride.

No. Not necessarily. I didn't say the technology and the materials itself were bad, its the way people attach themselves to it and claim possession over it. Mainly, imo, it's the nonuniform qualities of materials (several brands for one item) that create the imbalanced perception of hierarchical structures that create feelings like jealousy and envy. Moreover, it is the neglect of the animal kingdom in the way we use technology just for humanity, because after all, the only reason we have technology is for comfort of the self. So if it were possible for us to focus on helping the planet as a whole instead of benefiting ourselves with the technology, then technology could be acceptable and it would not create the problems we have today. But people are already misguided and they think an adequate life is one of acquiring the most material goods, and this is a selfish way of life. It's not the materials, its the materialistic behavior which is most tempting when there are nonuniform material goods.

Wrong. The only thing we gain out of materialistic separatist behavior is knowledge, and that only serves to further increase materialistic needs.

Humans have to be wise and know what they need vs. what they want because desire itself is the main materialistic creation. If we fail to realize this, we will have a technological age, but we will be stuck with the same emotional imbalance that we've always had that makes rich men commit suicide. its going to be even bumpier than its been the last 10,000 years due to this 10,000 way of life that goes back to the beginning of human history.
